Chapter 21

Jordan’s POV

We all woke up early the next morning and left Rachel’s house. Last night we decided to head down to the local cafe the next morning to decide where to search for our friends. In a matter of moments we arrived at the café, I held the door as the others went inside and sat at a table. Throughout the small café you could hear things clanking, sizzling, frying, whatever, coming from the kitchen. I could smell the fresh pastries and such being made and sent out of the kitchen. I pulled out my xtransever and opened up the map of Castelia City and put the xtransever in the center of the table.

“So, were did Toby and Aleks go missing?” I asked.

“Around here, near the gym.” Martyn said pointing at a certain point on the map.

“Rocky went missing around here. By the Castellia Cones stand.” Vivian said pointing at a spot.

“There both really close to each other and by movie/videogame logic the prison,” Eddie said. We all looked at each other and pointed at the same spot, right in the middle of the two locations.

“Should be right here.” We all said in unison.

“Let’s go then!” Eddie said excitedly.

“Problem is, how are we going to get inside?” Vivian said.

“I don’t know, we can’t just walk right in and say ‘hey, were coming to get our friends now!’” Martyn said. I looked over to my left and out of the café window was a poster. On it, it read ‘Join us today! ’ I stood up and left the café going to grab the poster. Most of my friends were confused to what I was doing and started to shout at me, I ignored them and kept going. I grabbed the poster and went back into the café, laying it out on the table I smiled. On the poster was a meeting place, clear as day and in the background was a giant red R.

“This. This is how we are going to find them.” I said with a grin.

Rocky’s POV

I woke up the next morning, my neck sore. We had got moved out of the cages and into proper jail cells. I walked around stretching, attempting to prepare for what this day had in store for us. All of the sudden all the lights turned on waking up the rest of the prisoners. Unlike the other days no one was complaining about being woken up so rudely. I walked over to the side of the cell, leaning up against the wall. Staring at the guards who passed me, not once have they laid their eyes on any of us. Especially me. The group up here was marked dangerous for some odd reason. I was the only girl up here, the other six cells were inhabited by boys. Ryan was on the cell to my left, Adam to my right. Straight ahead of me was Burgh, to his left and right were boys none of us knew. They had kept quiet but one had a prominent accent, a British one to be precise. They had both kept in the shadows of their cells, none of us had seen what they looked like. Only faintly what they sounded like.  Guards came up to our cells giving us our breakfast, I took the tray quickly before the guard could get a good look at my face. I went to the back of the cell and sat down on the ‘bed’. More like a concrete slab with a pillow.  I ate in silence as did the others and left the tray on the floor. Eventually they were going to come and get us, taking us to the common room. God, I wish they would just hurry up and take us down there. I badly wanted to talk to the two new guys and see what there deal was. Suddenly the jail cell doors opened up showing it was time for us to head down to the common room. I headed out as Ryan and Adam caught up to me. I glanced over my shoulder to see Burgh and Toby walking beside Ryan and Adam. The two other boys stayed at the back, I grinned. This was getting more and more like a gang every second.

“Ryan,” I whispered. “I need to talk to the two boys. Do you know anything about them?”

“No, none of us do.” He replied.

“Dam, can you at least come with me to talk to them?”

“That might intimidate them, then they won’t talk to you.” He replied.

“Yeah, you’re right.”  In a matter of moments we got to the common room, two guards opened the doors for us, I glared at them and they turned away quickly. I smirked this was just getting better and better. Most of us separated, I did the same at the start. After a minute I went over to the boys, in the light I saw that they both had brown hair. One of them had curly hair, the other’s was a bit poufy. The one with curly hair had a bright blue bennie on his head with a black t-shirt and jeans. He also had tattoos down on of his arms. The other had a blue hoodie and jeans on. They stared at me, unsure of what to say.

“Hey, name’s Rocky.” I said.  They didn’t reply at first, until one of them nudged the other with his elbow.

“Hey.” The one with poufy hair said. The other just nodded.

“So…… What are your names?” I asked, looking like an idiot.

“Toby,” The guy with poufy hair said. “That’s Aleks.” He just nodded once again.

“Nice to meet you, were you guys traveling with anyone before?”

“Yeah, our friends.” Aleks said.

“Same here, see you around.” I said walking away. That couldn’t have been anymore awkward, those guys don’t like me at all.
