Adaline's POV
"Come on boys!!!" I yelled from downstairs. Today was Sunday, the day before we start school, and we decided to go to the park and play football. After yesterday, everyone was so exhausted.
Now everyone was downstairs except Isaac. Thats him for you, always spending 4 hours in front of the mirror.
"Ughhh!! Isaac we don't have all day for you to fix your hair," I yelled. Even Zack can get ready faster than him. I ran up the stairs and went to his bathroom to see him brushing back a strand of hair that was perfectly fine. You see other people would think he's some mysterious badboy, but to us he's just a clumsy person who spends way to much time looking at himself in the mirror."C'mon!" I yelled from the bathroom door. "Ok I'm done,"said Isaac."Took you long enough," I muttered. Danny, Isaac, Alex, Lee, Zack and I walked out of the house. We had to force Lee to come, because he just wanted to stay in bed all day.
"Shotgun!!" Isaac and I yelled at the same time. We looked at each other for a second and quickly sprinted to the car. We reached the front seat at the same time, but I shoved him out of the way. He fell on his bum and everyone else started laughing at our sibling love for each other, not.
Danny hopped into the driver seat, since he was the oldest, and every one else took there seat in the back seats.
Danny started the ignition and started driving to the park. "Are we there yet?" Zack complained, even though it's only been 1 minute. "No,"I said. After about 30 seconds he asked again. "No!" I yelled again. "What about now?" he asked again. "No!!" everyone yelled at the same time. About 5 songs and 1 million arguments later, we reached the park. The park had a playground, skate park, trails and a lot of land to do sports on.
I grabbed the football that was by my feet while the others grabbed the picnic basket and blanket. After we set up our plays where we were going to be eating we started playing football. Danny threw the football into one of the trails. Since I was closer to it I went and got it. While I was getting it I bumped into something, or should I say someone.
"Watch it!" the person growled. I looked up and saw a really hot man that looked my age, walking away. "Well someone's angry," I muttered under my breath thinking he wouldn't hear. "What did you say to me!" he said furiously. He turned back and walked really close.
Once he saw the fear in my eyes his eyes softened and he looked away. "Sorry," he said, "I'm just mad about something else." He looked back down at me, since he was a little bit taller than me. "What are you angry about," I asked softly. I was really curious, and you know what they say curiosity kills the cat.
He looked away again then back at me. "My father wants me to take over his company when I get older, but I don't want to do that," he says. "Oh," I say. An awkward silence fills the air. "So, what's your name. I haven't seen you around here and I'd remember someone as beautiful as you," he says. I blush at his compliment, and think what's wrong with you Adaline you never blush! "Adaline Smith, you?" I ask smoothly. "Andrew Morris," he shakes my hand while smirking. We exchanged numbers just incase I'm in trouble or need help, his words not mine, and I walked away with the football in my right hand.
Once I was back I put the football next to the picnic blanket, where all my brothers were eating and sat down. "What took you so long?" Alex asked. "I couldn't find the football at first, but then found it in bushes," I lied smoothly. He looked at me hesitantly, but I gave him a reassuring smile.
Once we finished eating we headed home since it was getting dark. I went to my room and changed into my pajamas. As soon as I was done changing I plopped on my bed. I was about to be taken over by sleep, when I felt a feeling and thought go through my mind.
I, Adaline Smith, have a feeling that I'm going to be seeing Andrew a lot more, but I didn't know if that was a good or bad thing. Then darkness took over my eyes.
A/N hey guys hope you liked it.
At the end when I said "darkness took over my eyes" that means she's asleep. Just clearing that up.😄😋
