"Hi! You must be the new girl. I'm Emily," She said holding out her hand for me to shake.
"Yeah. I'm Adaline by the way," I replied while shaking her warm hand.
"I can already tell we're going to be great friends," she squealed.
"C'mon lets get your schedule and locker information," She said while leading me down the hallways that were mostly cleared out.
We reached a room that said " Front Office". She quickly went inside with me quietly following and observing my surroundings. The office had a cheery vibe to it. There was a old, nice looking lady at the front desk.
"Hi what can I do for you two," She said in an overly happy voice.
"Adaline here is new and needs her schedule and locker information," Emily explained to the lady.
"Oh ok. Well welcome to Cedarwood High," the lady said getting up from her desk chair to go get my information from a printer behind her.
"Well here's your schedule and locker information. If you need anything just ask," she said while handing me the papers.
" Thank you," I said.
Emily dragged me out to the hallway, where she quickly took a look through my papers.
" m'kay," she mumbled to her self, "Okay so we have 1st, 3rd and 5th period together. Your schedule is
1st- AP Biology (with Emily)
2nd- AP English
3rd- AP French ( with Emily)
4th- Calculus
5th-AP Physics (with Emily)
6th- AP History
7th- Free
8th- Gym,"
She explained to me.
If your wondering why I have so many AP courses, or why I'm really rich, well the AP courses are because I'm just naturally smart, but not like a prodigy or anything, but just get good grades. And the richness comes from my dad owning a company, but I don't like to be a spoiled person, so I make my own money to buy my own things. My dad likes to buy me stuff, even though I tell him not to.
Anyways, Emily led us to a classroom, in which I assumed was AP biology, and opened the door. As soon as she opened the door everyone's eyes were on us.
"So Emily would you like to explain why your two minutes late," the teacher, that I learned was Mr. Craddok, said.
"Oh I was just helping Adaline here, since she's new," Emily replied back with a smile that said "thats right, you don't have a reason to give me detention" directed at the teacher.
"Oh!! Well Adaline you can sit in the empty seat right next to Emily," he said.
I nodded and sat right at the back, where Emily was sitting. That class went by in a flash, because all the knowledge that the teacher was saying, was something I already learned. As soon as the bell rang Emily and I ran out of there.
" C'mon I'll show you where your locker is," she said while heading in the opposite direction.
"Okay here's your locker, once 2nd period is done I'll come get you from your locker to go to 3rd period. Oh! And then after 3rd period is lunch," she said when we reached my locker.
She quickly rushed of probably to go to her next period, but not before saying bye over her shoulder.
I put all the items I didn't need in my locker and swiftly closed it and turned around, only to be met with something hard. Or rather someone.
I looked up to see Andrew, the person I ran into at the park. " We have to stop meeting like this," he chuckled with a smirk looking down at me in amusement.
I laughed at what a coincidence this was.
"Hey, how are you," I replied.
"Better, now that I've seen you," he replied back with a smirk.
"Wow that was smooth," I replied with a laugh.
I looked around to see 4 people behind him looking between me and Andrew with amused looks. The first one that spoke was a guy with brown hair and hazel eyes.
"Hi, I'm Jake Thompson," he said while kindly shaking my hand.
"I'm Lucas Anderson," the one with green/blue eyes and dark brown hair replied, shaking my hand.
It went on like that, and I learned that the one with dark brown hair and brown eyes was Sean Wright and he one with dark brown hair with blonde streaks and blue eyes was Cole Harrison.
After I met all of them I quickly scurried of to AP English. I entered and the same thing happened as first period, except I had to introduce myself.
" I'm Adaline Smith, I'm 18, love to play all sports, but mainly football, and moved here from New York with my 5 brothers and father." I said to the class.
After introducing myself I sat down in the seat the teacher told me to sit in.
AP English went by fast, so when the bell rang I ran to my locker seeing that Emily was already there with 2 other girls by her side.
"Hey, Adaline. I want you to meet my 2 best friends," she said.
"Hi I'm Perrie," the girl with black hair and blue eyes said.
"Hi I'm Jasmine," the girl with brown hair and brown eyes said.
"Hey I'm Adaline, it's nice to meet you two," I smiled back at them.
We all headed to 3rd period together.
I learned throughout class that Perrie was a very dramatic and daring person, while Jasmine was a calm and chill kind of person. I could already see all 4 of us becoming best friends.
A/N Again sry for not updating. When summer starts I'll be updating a lot more because I'll have more time on my hands.
