Chapter 17
DAY 3
The Coach bus took us to SeaWorld. I freaking love SeaWorld. My parents use to take a vacation there every summer. But since things changed around my household, we stopped going. I was super pumped to get splashed and wet. Joy, Diamond and I paid a VIP access pass to jump in the front to see shows and get on the rides.
" Let's go on Manta !" Joy suggested.
"Yeah nigga, that ride is the shit!"
"I hope God is with me on this one." Diamond prayed.
The line was long but we were able to go to the front since we had a VIP access. But Lord beholds Chad and his homies were in the front, getting mad because they're probably thinking that we're skipping.
"Aye yo, why you skipping girl?"
"Cause I got myself a VIP access card!" I said and stuffed the VIP card in his face. He was making a jealous face.
"Mind sharing?"
"Hell no!"
"You can't handle this ride any fucking way."
"I bet I could."
"10 dollars?"
"Ok. Challenge accepted."
The ride manager unlocked the gate to get in. I hop in the second row and Chad sat right next to me, all grinning and smiling.
"Why you have to sit next to me?"
"To manipulate and intimidate you."
I rolled my eyes in annoyance.
I buckled and strapped myself tightly. The monitor starting counting down backwards. Then, the rollercoaster went flying around the trails. It went up and down. I was screaming like no tomorrow and Chad was neutral. He's still on the bet I thought.
The rollercoaster decided to ride against the water and we went underwater for a slight second. I saw pretty fishes. I was coughing water and still screaming excitement. The rollercoaster finally stop and Joy, Diamond and I walked out dizzy and dumb.
"Damn..... that I got to say." Joy said
"Right?"
I found a chair to sit on immediately because I thought I was dead for a minute. Chad came up to me, giving me a disappointed look.
"What nigga?!"
" I'm upset..."
"Why?"
"Because I'm acting a fool."
I smiled.
"Well, not trying to be a flirt or whatever, but wanna go have some lunch with me? Well, I'll actually pay everything."
"Oh really? So you ballin' ?"
"Yeah, I have a job. And don't be hard to get because I'm trying to do something good and you just denying it."
"All I want to know is that can my girls come?"
"You can bring them, but they gotta pay."
"You just said you were gonna pay for everything."
"Yeah....everything that you get"
I blushed. Gosh he's still in love with me I thought.
He grabbed my right hand and I felt a spark again that we had when we were together. I can't believe I still love him even though I've been ignoring and cover it up. But I'm glad he's acting decent instead of acting like a jerk.
