The New Ones

What on Earth is a Human?!

I drop the elk and look up. Dad, Miko, Is over Mom growling. I crouch down and leap knocking my Dad over. Mom gets up and backs away. Dad growls at me then jumps at me grabbing a fluff of fur on my neck. I feel the flesh be cut. It felt like getting slashed with razorblade. I take my paw and hit his head making him let go. I push him back and make him land on his back. How does it feel to be on the other side huh fake dad! I think. He launches his up and reaches for my neck. He grabs it and pulls me  down. I lose my balance and come crashing down on him. I cant breathe and gasp for breath. I know I must be bleeding badly. My vision darkens. I feel some thing crash into me. You saved me but ouch. I think. I see my Mom attacking him. He pushes Mom off and throws her at a tree. She yelps.

Miko growls then says " I'm Leaving this dumb stupid pack anyone who wants to come with can." He says walking away. Everyone goes except for Mom and Saile. Of course I don't go I hate my Dad. I wish I could have my Dad back. I watch them walk into the woods. I walk over to Mom weakly. I nudge her with my paw. She looks up at me. I'll let her rest there. I need to go get something for my neck. I walk over to the pond and look at my neck. Gosh he must hate me. I dip my neck in the water to clean off the blood. I then dunk my head into the water and grab a spongy plant and set it down. I change into my human form and wrap it carefully around my neck like a band aid. I walk back. Saile's over helping my Mother. I watch her carefully stand up a little wobbly. Saile brings her over to me, by the elk. I pull off a chunk for Mom. Saile looks at me her eyes asking if she can eat. I step away. "Thanks." She smiles and digs in. That's the first time she has ever talked. I was starting to think she couldn't speak. I feel really sorry for Saile. She does nothing wrong yet she gets abused by Miko every single day. I crawl close to the elk and start eating. Saile watches me the whole entire time me and her are eating her omega instincts kicking in. I avoid her gaze to not scare her. We finish eating the deer. I spend the rest of the day just hanging out.

THE NEXT DAY

I wake up. No one is awake yet and I'm okay with that. I stand up and wander a little ways off. I sniff the air for that very unique scent I smelled yesterday. I find it and follow it. I see the strange werewolves. They have some sort of camp that has upside down V-shaped things. I saw a werewolf crawl into one. Another werewolf crawls out of one it looks towards me and gets up. It starts running at me. My instincts kick in and I start running away. The werewolf chases me. I feel something grab my paw and stab into it. It makes me flip over and I land on my back knocking the air out of me. I flip over and try to pull my paw out. The other werewolf comes up to me and kneels down. I growl baring my teeth in both fear and anger. "That's a big wolf." I change into my non-wolf form.

"What do you want!" I say in a low rumbling voice.

"Woah  they're real." She says. She has reddish blondish hair. She's pretty thin. I look at her.

"What's real?" I say

"Werewolves."

"Yeah of course we're real. Aren't you a werewolf?"

"No I'm a human."

"What's a Hue Man?"

"No it's human."

"What's a Who Maen?"

"No it's HUMAN."

"...Human...............?"

"Yes, Human. We're just like you except we cant change into wolves."

"That's strange now can you get me out of this trap?"

"Sure."
