Amelie just stared at her Daughter, Amelie thought to herself that he might do it, he had tried before and failed, no he would not dare... but in the back of her mind she knew he would try again. Not because he wanted Desire, but because he wanted to hurt her. Everyone looked at Amelie, she looked so scared so terrified.
Amelie said "I am sorry Desire" looking her daughter straight in the eyes, “I know I Promised you more freedom, but it’s for your own safety that we must give you more protection and less freedom for now. I cannot have anything happen to you, we were lucky this time, you are my daughter. I love you more than words can say , I will do anything to protect you, anything.” Desire still looking in to her mother’s eyes said “I know I love you too Mum" then they hugged each other tight.
Oliver ,Myrnin and Thro walked out in to the hall, Claire, Michael, Shane and Eve also left the room to give Amelie and Desire some time. After a while Theo went to check that Desire was ok, she was fine as far as he could tell, well the human half was ok. he was not sure about the vampire side . He had never heard or seen any vampire or human, that hands could catch fire without leaving marks.
Oliver called for one of Amelie’s cars and more guards, they waited patiently in silence then there was a knock on the door. It was Amelie's guards...Amelie and Desire got up, and as she did Amelie looked at the four of them, and walked down the hall. As Myrnin,Theo and Oliver walked down the hall behind her, towards the waiting guards and car . Oliver turned to the four of them and said “NO ONE SPEAKS OF THIS,” in a harsh tone... they all nodded together.
They sat at the kitchen table, Shane made chili dogs and they sat eating trying to get their heads around everything they had seen and heard. Eve was in shock, she just kept saying “Amelie has a daughter, a human daughter...how is that possible?” Michael and Shane, even Claire were still taken a back at the events of the day. Shane said "I wonder who the father is and why would Captain Obvious attack the limo?” That got them all thinking.
