Amelie and Desire sat in the back of the limo not a word was said. Desire was thinking that now she had seen her father , well as much as she could in the Captain Obvious costume, that covered most of his face, it only lead to more question. There was so much she needed to ask her Mum.

 But did not want to hurt her any more as she knew her Mum had been hurt a lot and had  so  much  pain most of  her life, Be it in her human or vampire life first with the death of her mother at such a young age. Then adoring her father so much, wanting his love. Her father remarrying, His new wife being evil to Naomi her younger sister and her, then rebelling and trying to get back what was rightfully  hers  the  throne.  After   her stepmother tried to take it away  from  her. Only for her father to say he never ever loved her or her sister, and only married their mother to get the throne ,her stepmother making her father in to a vampire  then  he  made Naomi  and her  to what they are  today, vampires. This was  followed by over a thousands of years of abuse by her father and stepmother .

After her  father telling them  he killed their  mother, in fear of Naomi’s and her  life they finally escaped . They met  Oliver and then  Myrnin  then Theo, later her father finds  her and tries to kill both Naomi and her.  She decided that the only why to be rid of her father is to leave for America with Naomi the only family she really had and loved so much. 

She built  Morganville, a safe haven for vampires and humans alike. 10 years later Oliver and Myrnin followed. She fell in love with Sam, and then is she truly happy for the first time in her life, Sam is shot and she has to change him to save him, they drift apart which hurts her so much. She had me and she is overcome with happiness but frightened that I would get hurt or worse so she kept me safe and only known to  Oliver and Myrnin and Theo. It was a hard time for her, then Naomi unknowingly betraying her to her father, which hurt her so much. Then her  father Bishop came  for her, tried to  take over Morganville  and  destroy  her and all the good she has tried to do.

 Then Sam is killed in front of her by the orders of her father, she then tried killing herself there was just so, so much hurt and pain in her mother’s personal life.  She forgave Naomi ,she still loves her so much but can never trust her again ,yet... No one knew she hid it well, not even Oliver and Myrnin know all the hurt and pain.

They are not here when the servants and guards are not around, she still hears her mother crying so hard she can feel the pain and hurt, and all i want is to go to her so much, but knows she could not, it would her hurt her mother knowing  she knew the hurt and pain she carried around and all ways would.

 She was not meant to know any of this but she was cleaver and found out bit by bit. She did not want to hurt her mother, but she needed to know the truth. She looked at her mother, Amelie looked back, Desire put her head on her mother’s shoulder, and Amelie lightly kissed her daughters head. As if sensing what Desire had been thinking said in a low voice “it’s ok, asks what you must. “

When they reached the  gates to the house the car door was  opened and there  was  a wall of guards waiting  to escort them in to the house,  also waiting was  Oliver and Myrnin and  they followed them in . Desire asked her mother if it would be ok if Oliver and Myrnin came in the room while they talked Amelie said “if that’s want you , then its fine by me.”

They went in to the lounge, Amelie dismissed the guards and maids, they all sat down, and Amelie looked at Desire “where would you like me to start?" She asked, “ from where you think best " Desire replied. There was silence for a few minutes then Amelie sighed. ”very well… when I first met Sam he was human and came here demanding  I right some wrong he thought I had done. He was so mad at me I think I fell for him there and then.
