"Just drop me off somewhere in time square please"
And so he drove, as I watched the rain fall gently on the windows. It seems so dark, all the lights from the buildings usually give this place a spotlight type feeling. But it would seem as if all the lights were out. We drove for about twenty minutes before the cab driver finally stopped right outside of time square. I paid the money i owed and began walking. Mason told me he would meet me in here somewhere at eight. It was probably about seven-thirty so I decided to just walk a while. I got many weird looks from people and at first, I didn't realize why. Then again, I guess a girl with headphones on walking in the rain without an umbrella is quite weird. Its gonna be great seeing Mason again and he's even coming back to school. He was held back once, so he's going to be a senior. All the girls love him, which I suppose is understandable. He's six foot one, which almost always attracts them already. Then you add his deep blue eyes, jet black hair and deep voice, and girls swoon. I was by some coffee shop when I seen him and I couldn't help but smile like crazy. I ran and jumped into his arms, telling him about everything that happened while he was gone.
"I've missed you so much! You will not believe what's happened lately! I can't wait to tell you Mason." I squealed out in a quite unbecoming, girl-ish voice.
"Hey! There's my lil sis!! How are you? Its been so crazy without my crazy girl being there bugging me the whole time! Let's go back to the apartment and you can tell me everything."
We took another cab back, and I told him some of the stuff I had done while he was away. I told him how almost every morning I would get up at around five and sit by my window watching the sun rise, until I had to go to work. From our apartment you can see above most of the buildings, which gives New York more of a country feel. I told him about how much I miss home and wished I could go back. When we finally got back I just wanted to lay down for a little, so Mason suggested we watch a couple movies before catching up on stuff. We put in my favorite movie, The Breakfast Club, and laid on the floor, surrounded by pillows.
