"I'm sorry ma'am, but your daughter is dead along with your son-in-law."

As I walk in, I see Officer Julian leave the house, handing my grandmother with what appears to be a booklet. She closes the door, flicks through the booklet and leaves it a coffee table.

"Redena please go to your room, we need to talk." Grandmother proceeded walking towards her bathroom.

I walk towards the booklet, all I see is droplets on the words:

'Mr Edgar Riding: shot in the cranium'

'Mrs Maria Riding: stabbed in the internal organs'

'Request to charge murderer:
Tick the following [ ] Yes, [ ] No, Sign__________'

"Grandmother?" I walked into the bathroom seeing her, sitting on the toilet, her head in her hands filled with the bitter tears of sadness.

"Redena. Your parents were murdered."

Slamming into my bedroom door and jumping out of the window, not understanding a word my grandmother told me.

"Redena I'm so.....REDENA WATCH OUT!"

"What grandmother?"

*BAM!*

"Redena? Oh praise the lord, you are awake!" I see an elderly woman, hugging me in her warm wrinkly arms. I am so confused.

Where am I?

Who am I?

The elderly woman's face turned pale as though she has met a stranger who hurt her.

"Um, what's going on? Who are you?"

The elderly woman placed me in a small bed that seemed my size. She kissed my forehead, I felt her weightless breath upon my cheeks giving me a slight tingle. I felt exhausted, my eyes were itchy and watery, maybe she'll tell me in the morning?

"Good night my dear, we shall talk tomorrow morning."

The next morning...

"Redena? I think you have forgotten a bit of your memories, but I am your grandmother who is going to take care of you."

That makes sense, I felt a loving bond from her, and assuming from the antique vibe of the house she is my grandmother.

"Where are my parents?"

Her face turned into despair and I see her clenching a booklet in her grasp,

"They died. Yesterday in a car crash. I am sorry Redena."
