A+. Wait what? I just got back to school today in English and Mrs White gave me my extended response. Well...essay.
"Mrs White? Are you sure this is mine?"
"Yes it is Ms Riding. I'm impressed. You really wrote it as though you experienced it. I want you to present it on the last day assembly."
"What? Are you serious Mrs White? No one knows me."
"I'm sorry Ms Riding but I already put you in to present it. I think you are known, take a look."
She pointed towards the class windows and everyone was gathering around it, trying to get my attention.
"You have changed a lot Redena, in a good way as well. I think this is a great way to show how much you have changed and speak on behalf of the student body. Your grades have risen effectively, in fact, you are the top student in your year. This is your chance! To show everyone that you have changed. I mean, you portrayed it effectively in your essay. Besides, you can speak. You have a strong voice."
I nodded and picked up everything. How am I supposed to speak to the entire school with my essay?
"Babe!! How are you?"
Ella came up to me, holding a dress bag. She moved out of our house a week after Grandmother recovered from her coma even though she hasn't been on good terms with her step mother. She moved in with Gray instead and she hasn't stopped telling me about it. Apparently, she was eavesdropping on the "reveal" as she skipped the last period.
"I'm good Ella, thanks for this dress again."
"It's all good love, you will not stop pestering me about making a dress that suited your red jacket. I must admit, I miss that jacket."
She made me a black A-line dress with pink roses all over it. I paired it with black stockings that were ripped. I was slowly going back into the badass style but still incorporated the cutesy style. I wore the red jacket since it was getting chillier. This jacket is the half of me, holding every single secret and events through the rips and permanent dirt all over it.
"Red, are you sure you won't talk to Gray?"
"Ella, I already told you. He stopped trying to talk to me two weeks ago and he won't forgive me. I lost him and its over."
She gave a squeak. I looked at her confusingly.
"What was that?"
"Nothing."
I realised she got out of the daze. She didn't make that squeak because of what I said. She squeaked of what she saw. I was going to turn around before she stopped me.
"Don't Red!"
I ignored her and turned. I thought so. He really didn't love me. He wanted to prove something to himself that he could get the daughter of the people he murdered. I stared down at him. He was making out with Anastasia, one of Ella's step-sister. I guess he never really did get out of his playboy days.
"Did you know?"
"No!! He always told me that he misses you."
I continued to stare at them being disgusted. They stopped kissing and Anastasia left him. He jumped joyously and took out a little black book with a huge smile on his face. I storm up to him and grabbed it out of his hand.
"Red!! What are you- please don't look at that!!"
"Wow. I really thought you changed. I guess you are still the same as the guy that joined this school."
