"I'm really sorry Gray. I got to go because I have to do something tonight and I need to prepare."

Gray's eyes didn't change. He still had the lust and greed for wanting to kiss me. I pulled away from him before it was too late. I lied. I needed to check on Grandmother if she's alright. His eyes turned to a cheerful stare.

"It's alright Red. I'll drive you home."

He grabs my hand and we walk towards his car. I couldn't hold in the feeling. I was really happy. I kept clinging onto the necklace he gave me and could not let go. Pretending to be a chauffeur, he opens the passenger door,

"M'lady, you are expected at your residence." I rolled my eyes at his fake british accent.

"Thank you kind sir." Closing the door of the car, he jumps in the car and increases the volume of the radio being a RnB song and starts head banging to the music

"Classy." I retort and roll my eyes. I felt his hand caress my cheek almost yanking me towards his face,

"I am going to be late good sir." Snapping out of the fantasy, Gray starts the car and drives.

Arriving back home...

"Thanks Gray. For a memorable birthday, even if it was only for 30 simple minutes."

Gray smirks and gets out of the car. Running to the passenger door.

"M'lady. I'm glad that you let yourself hang around with a chauffeur for your pleasant birthday. Even if it was simple."

He grabs my hand and kisses it like I was royalty. I rolled my eyes and felt his hand grab behind my neck, pulling my lips towards his.

We kissed. I don't know for how long but we kissed. Oh my glob. It felt amazing. My heart was racing when caressed my cheek. We didn't let go but we didn't move. It was just a long, lingering, passionate kiss. No tongue, no parting. I swear I could hear violins or piano in the background but I didn't want this kiss to end. Unfortunately it did. We both parted and his eyes turned to wonder. Not his eyes made me wonder for more or for love. No. His eyes had wonder for me. I could see his visual bearings of us being together longer. I smiled at his smile. I have never seen him smile besides smirking. It was wonderful.

"See you later Redena." Kissing my cheek as he parted away and left in his car.

"Grandmother? Are you awake?" Walking towards her room I can't hear anything. Not even Cookie or the snoring of Grandmother. Opening the door I see some paramedics and officers in the room. I gaped. I couldn't understand why. I see Grandmother lifeless on the bed but still breathing.

"What's going on?" Everyone in the room turned to me as though in sorrow and regret.

"Redena Riding? I'm sorry but a newspaper boy passed by seeing your Grandmother fainted right outside your door. She's feeling alright but she's currently in a coma and it is to your family doctor, Swineheart, believes that she'll be in a coma for less than a month. I'm sorry."

I didn't understand. Why would she faint? She should know better not to leave the house because of her illness.

"This was in her hand when the paramedics took her to her bed." He handed me a small piece of paper that was scrunched up.
