Chapter 4 :Living life

3 years later Mark - 10 years Jack -9 years

Marks PoV

I stayed in my room that whole day waiting for Jack to show up . " ugh hurry u-"
" Mark honey Sean is here ." My mom said . He walked in smiling then whipped out a new game " the new mortal combat ! " we put it into my console and began to play the game .

Hours later

" yes ... Yes ... Yes !" Jack laughed as he beat me " told you I'd win . " he smiled .

Jacks PoV

I danced around the room as I won the game of mortal combat . We've played for 5 hours straight . Since 10 am . " Jack can we do our homework now ?"
" uhghh I hate homework ! Can't we live for once and go have fun ?"
" we have fun everyday . But your always in trouble because you haven't done homework. "
" fiine!" We've had a class teacher called Mrs. Bryan and she is the only teacher we have so there isn't an excuse for us to get out of homework . " Mrs.B will be so angry if you don't get this done Jack . Im only looking out for you cause your my best friend ." I smiled at him " thanks "  he handed me a sheet of paper which had scribbled of diagrams across it. " I picked a sheet up for you "
" as usual " I laughed .mark always ties to change my ways . He is awesome cause of it too . " what homework ?"
" it's science. You like what we've been doing its alright ."

The next day

Marks PoV

I shot up panting, sprawled out on the pullout bed Jack has . That nightmare of dad was bad . "what time is it ?" I asked myself out loud . Looking over to the clock my eyes widened '4 am !?' I laid back down . My glasses still laid in the bedside table. " what am I even doing . I should sleep . I can't . I'm gonna wake up Jack " I kneeled over beside Jack , and began to shake him " Jack . Jack " I whispered into his ear . He turned and looked at me , his eyes open a little " yeah?" He whispered back . " wake up , i don't want to be in the quiet " I thought back on what I said ' surprised , I used to be dead silent .' " what time is it ?" He mumbled I looked back at the clock taking a moment to read what it said in bold red numbers. I figured out the digital numbers and looked back " 4:20 am" smiled awkwardly. " really? It's Saturday morning . I don't wakeup until 11 ." He said sitting himself up " please" I begged quietly " fine ." He turned to me and got out of his bed sitting beside me " so , watcha' wanna talk bout ? " Jack asked ." I'm not sure .what are we doing today ?"
" well , we could walk the dog to the park . If ma lets us ."
" or we could play soccer ."
" or just stay in and play games ."
We smiled at each other . Jack jumped up and walked to his shelves . And pulls down a box of Lego . " let's make a house ."
" this'll be our third . Y'know "
" yeah oh well I've been getting it from my grandma . For my birthday and Christmas . Talking of my birthday , it's in 3 weeks we should go somewhere . "
" how about we get Darcey to take us swimming or for something ."
" good idea " he replied . I'm going home at 8 so it gives me time to change and then I'll be back at 8:30 . So 5 minutes to my house 10 minuets to change .10 minuets to empty my bags and 5 minuets to come back . Pretty easy . I searched for my glasses , looking as carefully as I could " my glasses ! Where are my glasses !?" ( yes it's from scooby doo I've been watching it with my nephew ) I began to stress " here calm ye' self down " Jack tapped my shoulder handing me my glasses . " t-thanks " I smiled, pushing them onto my face . " Jack I have to go home at 8 so I can see mom before she goes work . And so I can get some stuff ."
" you told me already ." Jack giggled at my forgetfulness. My cheeks went red at the comment .

7 am

Jacks PoV

I heard footsteps come to my door . Me and Mark stopped talking for a moment . Tap tap tap the person at the door went " come in !" I called over . In walked ma " oh! Your awake , boys I'm going to have to drop you at marks house because Darcey is going out me and your father have to work Sean ."
" what about my other multiple siblings ."
" they're all out ."
" my mom is at work , ( Sean's mums name can be .... Carla .) Carla ."
" she said there is someone to look after you . Now get dressed breakfast is on the table ." She smiled at us " and Mark , I've told you , call me ma ." She smiled once again
" okay ... Ma " she shut the door and me and Mark laughed . " hahaha you've got to call her ma "
" a five year run is good enough to call her ma y'know ." I looked at him " damn . Your too smart for me " we laughed . We got into clothes , Well Mark just got into yesterday's clothes , And went downstairs for our breakfast " bacon , eggs scrambled for you Mark , toast and beans ." Ma placed our plates I front of us and with a knife and fork . " thanks ma"
"Thanks car-ma " Mark replaced his words . " no problem honey ." Ma turned away . I looked at Mark, and pointed at him giggling quietly " shut up " he whispered . " Sèan . Leave Mark alone " ma didn't turn around at all she just said it ."What !? How'd yo- awwwh " I groaned in defeat ." Ha " Mark laughed .

We got into the car as ma drove as quick as she could to marks house. Me and Mark jumped out . I saw ms.F at the door , " can I trust you ? No it's the fact that I've not seen you in five years and you turn up . Okay . Okay yes Ralph I got it thank you " marks mother came walking past . " hello mom "
" hi Kate ." ( that can be marks mums name . J-just go with it ) Kate set a kiss on marks head " and that's mom to you Jack . " she looked at me ruffling my hair . Mark snickered quietly . We headed straight to the house . "Mark!" A boy about two years older squealed diving on Mark ."Owch" Mark said rubbing his head from the fall . The other boy still on top of him at this point ." Hey got off him !" I said angrily

3rd person PoV

" Hey get off him!" Jack called with anger . He grabbed the taller boys shirt and peeled him off Mark . "get off me !" The boy said . He was taller than jack and he was older than Jack . " who are you " Jack asked " I'm his brother " the boy spat . Mark looked up dazed . Slowly pulling himself to his feet . Jack still had the boy at his grasp . The front of his shirt now , all creased . " I don't remember having a brother !" Mark said with slight anger. " Mark! You remember me don't ya !?" The boy asked ." I do . But I've got my brother . "
" thank you see he is my bro-"
" his name is Sèan " using jacks real name meant it's true . " Tom leave me alone " Mark walked into the house . Jack threw Tom on the floor and followed quickly . A man stood in the kitchen . Cooking some food . " oh hello son ." The man said . Looking at Mark . " d-dad?"
