“How could you do this to me..” you said, your voice an audible whisper.
“Jade please let me explain. It’s no-”
“Don’t you even dare to say that it’s not what it looks like, I saw you with her, I saw how you look at her…”
“Jade, Don’t you get it…you’re the only one in my life, I swear that I could never-”
“Shut up, just shut up and get out…get out I never want to see you again!”
“Okay fine, you don’t believe me? Fine, call me when you will!!”
Jaime slammed the door shut and everything becomes quiet. You and Jaime had a just gotten into a massive fight. You know he was cheating on you, you saw him. He was in starbucks with some blonde, skinny girl with perfect skin and perfect legs.
You’ve always been afraid that was going to happen. That he would find a girl that had everything that you craved and now he did. He was there with her laughing, hugging and having fun. The over thinking caused you to break down and fall on the floor with tears falling down your cheeks.
You two had been in a relationship for a year now and you never felt something like this with any of your past boyfriends. You were in love with him and seeing him with another girl hurt you so much. The worst thing is that she was perfect, she had such nice skinny long legs, and a perfect body and her face was just so perfectly sculpted, she could have been a model. Any guy would choose her over you. You’ve never felt beautiful. Jaime was always saying that you’re the most beautiful girl for him and that you have perfect body and face. But you knew that it wasn’t true. You didn’t have a flat stomach or long legs, your teeth were not totally straight and your skin is not even close to perfect. You cried for what seemed like hours and before the phone started to ring.
You took a deep breath before answering the phone.
“H-Hello?” you say, voice shaky.
“Hi, I’m Melanie and you’re probably Jade right? Yeah Jaime was telling me a lot about you, anyways I just wanted to invite you and Jaime to my wedding which is going to be on Saturday at 1pm. I would love to meet you and I really hope you two will be able to come. See you, bye” and she hung off the phone.
You were a bit confused. Melanie is getting married? She’s the girl that you saw with Jaime with at Starbucks yesterday? Your knees got weak when you thought about how awfully bad you treated him. You were contemplating calling him when there was a knock at the door. You quickly wiped your face, before heading to open the door. You swing the door open and to your surprise Jaime was standing there.
“I’m sorry” he mumbles .
“No i’m sorry ,I thought you were cheating on me, its just that I saw you with her yesterday. I saw you laughing with her and she was so beautiful, she had such nice long legs and perfect skin and her body was so skinny…she is everything that I’m not so I thought-”
“You thought what? You thought that because she’s skinny and because she has long legs that I would cheat on you with her?(Y/N) what are you even thinking…don’t you see how beautiful you are? Don’t you see how much I love you? Please start to understand that you are the only one for me, I don’t want some sassy girl with long legs, perfect skin and skinny body.I want you…with all your flaws and mistakes. I love you ok? And nothing is going to change that.”
“I’m just so afraid of losing you…” you said sniffling, and holding back any tears that were threatening to spill.
“Hey shhh, you’re never going to lose me Jade, I’m always going to be here, right by your side ok?”
“I love you, Jaime.” you whisper.
”I love you too,Jade.” He says before gently kissing your lips and hugging you even tighter.
