4 years ago you had your little girl, her father had unfortunately passed away when you were only a few weeks pregnant. You had always been really good friends with Niall, and he was the one that helped you through it all, and supported you, he was your best friend.
2 years after your daughter Gabriella was born Niall introduced you to the rest of the members of One Direction. He wanted you to get to know them, they knew about you and we’re dying to meet you and you eventually gave in. You’re so glad you gave in and met them. None of them got to meet Gabriella apart from Niall.
You and Liam happened to hit it off straight away, and ever since that day you and Liam had been together. Liam knew about Gabriella but he had never actually met her. You didn’t want to force Liam into anything nor did you want Gabriella to freak out about everything.
She was only 4 and wouldn’t understand why Liam would always be around. He had seen pictures of her as had the boys. You and Liam had spoken about moving in together but you didn’t know how Gabriella would take it, you and Liam had agreed on first letting her meet Liam.
Gabriella knew her Dad was No longer around, and didn’t have a fatherly figure, the closest she got was Niall but she didn’t see him as a dad she saw him as your best friend, who she loved and trusted, but didn’t really think of him as a dad. Today was Gabriellas 4th birthday, so you decided to give her a small party at home, and you had invited Liam, and the boys over, you had asked Liam to come earlier so Gabriella could warm up to him. you were preparing things for the guests while Gabriella played with one of the toys you gave to her early. The doorbell went off,
“people are here" your daughter happily says, you smile at her, and go to the door. You smiled as Liam was standing in front of you with a red rose and a wrapped box, with Happy Birthday wrapping paper with princesses all over it. You and Liam said hello, and quickly kissed,
“Are you ready for this?" you ask him, he nods,
“I sure am" he replies, you smile at him before letting him in,
“Gabriella someone’s here for you" you call and your little girl comes running down the hall to you. She stops as she gets to your side, you pick her up,
“Say hello to Liam" you softly say,
“Hi" she shyly says,
“Hi sweetheart, I hear it is your birthday today" Liam sweetly says to her,
“yeah" she happily smiles,
“How old are you today?"
“Im this many" she answers holding her hand out showing Liam 4 fingers, he smiles at her,
“well Happy Birthday Gabriella" Liam says as you put her down and he hands her the gift he had gotten her.
“thank you" she smiles up at him,
“no problem" Liam answers, she smiles again before running off into the living room and opening the gift.
“A princess doll, a princess doll!!" she screams, you and Liam both laugh at how happy she was with the princess doll.
“she is adorable" Liam whispers to you.
“she is going to love you" you whisper back, as the doorbell went off.
