Chapter 10

--{your pov}--

  'How am I going to tell Max? Should I just wait for him to come home or go to the offices. I think I'll go to the offices if I don't tell him now I won't be able to tell him later.' I got in my car and quickly drove to the offices. Once I arrived I walked inside and find Max. I pulled him to an empty office and closed the door.

  "Hun are you okay?" He asked worried.

  "Max I went to the doctors today to see if I was pregnant." I grabbed his hands. "It turns out I-I'm infertile. Which means I can have children."

  Max was speechless he pulled me into a hug. I could tell he was crying. I couldn't help but tear up too.

  "Hun we have other options it's okay." I said rubbing his back.

  "O-okay"

--{Adam's pov}--

  I saw (y/n) come into the offices then drag Max to one of the empty offices. I walked over to the office and heard crying. I decided to knock on the door. The door opened and I saw Max wiping tears from his face.

  "Hey guys are you okay?" I asked quietly.

  "Why don't you come in and all explain." (Y/n) motioned for me to come in.

  "Omg I'm so sorry to hear that (y/n)." I hugged her and Max. "Guys you can take tomorrow off if you need it's no big deal.

  "Thank you Adam." Max said. Adam then walked back to his office.

  I got myself together and decided to get some work done to distract me from everything. I noticed that Max was pretty shook up over everything. He was oddly quite and every once in a while he'd glance at my lower stomach then frown.

--{Max pov}--

  I feel like I'm in a terrible nightmare. (Y/n) said there were other ways. I hope it works out. I want to one day be called 'Dad Max' that wouldn't bother me.' I turned to (y/n).

  "Hey what other ways are there?" I asked.

  "Well you can adopt or have a surrogate mother." She said calmly.

  "What's a surrogate mother?"

  "Since I can't have a baby say we asked another woman to carry our unborn child."

  "Oh makes sense."

  "Max do you want a baby right now?" She asked.

  "Not right now I'm just curious that's all." I turned back to my desk out of the corner of my I saw Tim Tim. Looking at me surprised. Then he texted me.

Tim- You want to be dad Max?
Max- yes actually I do
Tim- you sure?
Max- yes I want to be a dad. But not right now it's too soon.
Tim- makes sense I was thinking you wanted one now and I was slightly worried that you were getting ahead of yourself.
Max- I promise I'm not ahead of myself.
