Ash was by Violet's side in a heartbeat.

She draped Violet's arm across her shoulders and began to lift her from the sofa, eager to get her as far from that basement as possible. Apparently though, one of the men that had taken a particular interest in Violet had other ideas. He took a hold of Violet's arm and tried to drag her back.

"Where do you think you're going with her?" He growled.

When a barely conscious Violet fell back onto the sofa, Ash lost her patience. She spun around and locked her fingers around the man's neck, leaning in so that when she spoke, he would be the only one to hear her.

"If you lay a hand on her one more time, I will end you." Ash threatened, and of course, he believed her. With such sincerity in her eyes and voice it would have been foolish not to. She shoved him backwards, satisfied that he wouldn't dare try anything else, and continued to lead Violet away from danger and back up towards the house. Violet was mumbling something about going after Blake, despite the fact that it was proving a major difficulty just for her to stand on her own two feet - as demonstrated in the way she was leaning heavily against Ash for support.

"We can find Blake later. Right now, you take priority." Ash practically dragged Violet into the kitchen, before ordering everybody to vacate the area and setting Violet down on the island in the centre of the room. She ran the cold tap and filled a glass with water. "Here, drink this." She tipped the water into Violet's mouth while holding the back of her head up with her hand, sighing at the state Violet had gotten herself into. Violet drunk three quarters of a glass before pushing Ash's hand away.

"Blake..." She murmured as her eyes started to flutter closed.

"Violet, listen, I know you said that you didn't want me messing around inside your head but I'm gonna need to if you don't want to pass out right now." Ash spoke slowly and softly, hoping that Violet might actually be processing the words she was saying. "Is that all right?"

Violet just hummed in response, which Ash took as a green light. She rested her palm on Violet's forehead and concentrated on trying to cleanse her of whatever toxic substances she'd ingested, actively avoiding entering her mind or thoughts, as per Violet's request. It wasn't long before Violet begun to show signs of clarity, starting with the way her eyes came back into focus. Then, it was as if Violet had just been hit with a wall of freezing cold water. She jerked upright and into a sitting position before gasping in several lungfuls of air, holding a hand to her chest as her eyes darted about the room until eventually settling on Ash.

"Welcome back to the land of the living." Ash quipped. "How're you feeling?"

After overcoming her temporary confusion, Violet recalled the events of the night and groaned. "Like shit, thanks for asking." She swung her legs over the side of the island, but even that minor movement dizzied her a little. "Where's Blake? I need to find her, I need to explain. Someone drugged me, I-"

"I'm not so sure that's a good idea. You need time to recover, and I think Blake probably does too." Ash said as she handed Violet the rest of the water.

"God, she should never have seen that. What is she gonna think?" Violet shook her head, not wanting to dwell on the memory of how disappointed Blake had looked. "What were you guys doing in the basement anyway?"

"What do you think? We were looking for you. And I could feel your panic, so all I had to do was follow that feeling." Ash explained. "You're welcome, by the way."
