Phil's POV
What have I done? Snapping at him like that. I just, I need him gone though. He's too much. Walking around in towels, laughing and giggling, coming in my room at night because he's scared and needs cuddles.
I can't handle it. I'm going to end up breaking. Kissing him or something and then he's going to get grossed out and then leave and ugh. I'm so stupid. So so so so so so so so so stupid!!I quickly grabbed my jacket and ran out of the store. I made my way back to my house as quickly as possible.
"Dan?" I called out.
"Dan!" I called again.
"C'mon I'm sorry!" I said knocking on the door.
"Dan. I didn't mean what I said back there. I was only trying to push you away because I thought it would be easier on me if I did so. I just-I have to tell you face to face Dan. It's important." I said before twisting the knob and walking in.
The room was empty.
"No." I said walking out of the room and checking mine and the bathroom. I walked out into the kitchen.
A piece of paper caught my eye.
"Dammit! What in the devil's have I done?" I muttered picking up the paper and reading it.
"No. He couldn't have just left. That's not what I wanted him to do. No." I whispered.
Made it seem that way...
I slammed the paper back where it was before running back outside.
"Dan!" I called out.
"Dan?" I yelled into the streets.
He couldn't have gotten that far.
I began running down the pavement, looking for any signs of Dan.
"Ma'am!" I called out seeing a woman sitting on some steps.
"Sorry to disturb you ma'am, but-have you seen a boy. He's like my height. Brown hair. Black skinny jeans and he's wearing a black hoodie?" I asked, desperately describing Dan.
"No I'm sorry." She said kindly. I sighed and continued on, asking some neighbors along the way.
"Dan! Dan?" I called out walking down some alley.
"Dan!" I called as loud as I could. There are a million streets he could've taken.
I heard a grunt and turned around seeing a buff guy.
"What are you doing down here?" He asked, his voice heavy.
"I'm looking for someone. Maybe you've uh seen him. Brown hair. Around my height, all black?" I said casually.
The man came forward knocking me into the wall, the back of my head banging against the brick wall.
Dang that hurt. A lot!
"I'm afraid I haven't, but I have seen you. You shouldn't be down here." He seethed, pushing me against the wall again.
"I'm s-sorry. I didn't know." I stammered. He let me go, kicking one of my legs.
"Get on out of here kid!" He mumbled. I didn't even wait. I stood up, ignoring the pain in my leg and ran down the alley and back to the main street.
I pulled out my phone.
I'm such an idiot. I should have just called him first.
I called him. 14 times. He didn't answer.
I texted him.
Dan c'mon answer me.
Dan you don't have anywhere to go.
Gah. Dan c'mon. I didn't mean it.
I'm sorry.
Please message me back!
Pleaseeeeeeeeee
I sighed giving up and sat down on the ground.

I sat there for a while before my phone went off.
"Hello? Dan!" I asked not looking at the caller ID.
"No. This is Doctor Pents. Am I speaking to a Phil Lester?" A man's voice came through.
"Yes. Uhm. I'm Phil Lester. Is everything okay?" I asked quickly.
"For now yes sir. We have a patient under the name Daniel Howell. He was admitted here just around 3 hours ago and he has asked us to call you several times before. If you'd like to come in we can discuss his injuries." The man said.
"No. I mean. What hospital? Is he okay? He'll make it right? He's not hurt too badly is he? Wait, you said he asked several times before. Why in the devil's name are you just now calling me Doctor Pents?" I spit out.
"Sir. Please. We are calling from the Melapples Hospital (I knew no hospitals okay?) come as soon as you can and we will discuss this in person.
"Whatever." I mumbled. I hung up and called for a taxi.

I paid the driver and walked into the hospital's entrance.
"Hello sir-" A lady at the desk started.
"Doctor Pents." I cut her off.
"I'll have him down here soon sir please take a sea-" She started nicely.
"I will not take a seat. Thank you." I cut her off angrily. She muttered something before calling who I'm assuming is Doctor Pents.
Minutes later a tall man appeared by my side.
"Ah. Phil. Great to see-" He started.
"Is he okay?" I asked.
"He was in a car accident. His story is that he took off, hitched a ride, and didn't know the guy was drunk. The guy crashed the vehicle pretty badly. Officials say it flipped twice. The man did not make it. Your friend however was luckier. He has a minor concussion. Nothing too serious with that. No signs of any other types of head trauma. His left wrist is fractured and he has a broken foot, as well as 2 broken ribs. I'm sure he will be fine over time though Mr. Lester. He will be able to heal." The doctor said looking down at what I'm assuming is Dan's file.
"C-can I see him?" I asked breathlessly.
"Sir. It's 10 o'clock. It's past visiting hours. Only immediate family is allowed to stay with the patients past the time of visiting hours. Why don't you come back tomorrow and-" Doctor Pents started.
"No. No I will NOT leave. I'm considered family of this boy okay. Did he ask for anyone else." I lowered my voice, "Do you think he has anyone else?"
Doctor Pents closed his eyes, "Very well then. Right this way Mr. Lester."
