~~~3 month time jump every injury is healed. And I'm telling now. Not much happened in 3 months. Just Dan healing. Grams cooking. Phil playing video games and working at the book store. Sorry for the big time jump but yeah~~~
Dan's POV
I woke up, the light shining in on my face.
It's been 3 months since Phil's Grams came to stay here as well. She really was a controlling lady. Insisted on doing the cooking and cleaning. Not that Phil and I complained about that.
Right now I was stacking up some books at the bookstore. I could hear Phil quietly humming.
I've come to the conclusion that I maybe like Phil and nothing I do can stop that. Plus it's perfect, since he's gay himself I know he won't get weirded out. If he does, what type of hypocrit would he be?
I shook my head, ceasing the thoughts.
"Dan? Can you come over here and help me for a second?" I heard Phil call from wherever he was.
I made my way towards him, But tripped over something. Phil's arms wrapped around me and steadied me.
"Thanks." I said giggling. He smiled and let me go.
"I thought I was the clumsy one." He muttered smiling.
I shoved his shoulder.
"What do you need help with?" I asked.
"Taking these crates up to the attic." He said.
I nodded and bent down, grabbing a crate. Phil walked over pulling on the string that let the attic down. He took the crate from me and began walking up there. I walked back grabbing the next crate.
Grams had already went off to bed and Phil and I decided to play some video games. It was Friday after all and the book store is closed weekends.
After playing video games for a while Phil turned and looked at me.
"Dan?" He asked.
I turned looking at him questioningly.
"Have you ever had a girlfriend...or boyfriend. I don't know..." He said, seeming to regret the question.
"Well. I had a 'girlfriend' when I was 7. Never kissed. Just played tag together." I said keeping my voice light.
"Oh." Phil said looking away.
What's up with him?
"It's late. What do you want to do?" I asked.
"I'm actually a bit tired. I'm going to go on to bed. You can stay up if you'd like." Phil said quietly before getting up and walking back to his room.
I sighed.
Seems like he needs a night of his own.
I grabbed the small blanket that was resting on the couch and laid down, closing my eyes.
"Why are you sleeping out here boy?" I heard a soft voice ask.
I opened my eyes seeing that grams had taken a seat in the chair I had sat in the first night Phil brought me here.
"Oh. I think Phil just needs some time to himself." I said.
"You blind silly little boy." She muttered getting up and walking away.
Huh? What did I do?
I closed my eyes and fell asleep soon after.
For the first time in a long while I had a fearful sleep, and unfortunately Phil didn't come to my side to comfort me. His arms weren't wrapped around me when I woke up.
