Stair after stair, step after step, our conversation continued on as we were heading towards the underworld "So who was that woman that left earlier before I could even thank her ?" I asked. "She was a friend, she accompanied me as we were coming to the world of the living," she replied. "Ah okay, I just thought she was staring a bit much at me, so I assumed that I did something cause that's all she did was stare at me without saying a word, I thought is was a bit strange, and unpleasant, I didn't want to say anything while she was there so I waited," I said. "I'm glad you waited and didn't start any unwelcome problems, I appreciate your honesty and I apologize for her weirdness," she said. "The look in her eyes look like she was trying to tell me something, or even speak to me, but she didn't," I said. "Some people are shy, and in her case she wants you to remember," she said. "Remember what ?" I asked. "Her," she replied. "But we only just met right, right," I said. Nothing was said after that, just a silence.

The silence continued for sometime until the topic was suddenly changed, "So do you think Tsumi will be alright ?" She asked. "Yea she'll be fine, I just know it, she's strong so I know she'll make it though," I replied. "Can I ask you something Hitomi," I said. "Sure you may," she replied. "What's that lady's name ?" I asked. "Her name is Mika but I call her mikai from time to time, like I said she's my friend even before we died," she replied. "So you'll must of been real good friends to be friends even after death," I said. "It's not as simple as it seems," she said. "What do you mean ?" I asked. "Well at the time I didn't know nothing about being a reaper and everything so I took it really bad she was like a sister and she still is, I just feel like we've distanced ourselves a bit since we both died," she said with a depressed sound in her voice. "Well I know you had Hitomi but did she have any kids ?" I asked. "Yes, she had one son but she had to give him up to his father because she couldn't keep him all because she died," she replied. "That's sad, I wish she could of stayed with him a little longer, so she could watch him grow and everything," I said. "Yeah, I wish that two," she said.

Our time of walking down couldn't be determined but the conversation was consuming the wonder of when we will arrive to the weapon shop "Hitomi may I ask you another question ?" I asked. "You may," she said. "After you finished the program for the reapers classes or whatever, why didn't you go home to Hitomi ?" I asked. The walk became silent once again, "Well are you gonna answer Hitomi," I said. "I don't know," she replied. "You don't know, what type of answer is that, I mean that answer is good for things you lose or misplace, but not for this why didn't you go home," I asked once again. "Because we both died, her father and me, I couldn't tell her that he didn't choose to come back but rather stay and died like a normal person, I already knew she needed a parent to be by her side that's why I choose this path to walk," she said. "That still doesn't answer my question," I said while getting a little livid. "Shut up, you don't know how it feels to lose your best friend, then Seven years later be killed by your own great grandfather, while also the love of your live decides not to follow you and leave you alone, you'd be shattered right, right," she yelled. I was quiet, then I gripped my hands "Well I do know how it feels to lose everything right in front of you, I lost my mother to a god damn car accident and what do I have to show for it, a fuckin scare on my face, I don't remember anything about her, her name, her face, not even a image comes to mind, not to mention my old girlfriend died after I did and now she's trying to kill everyone around me and erase my memories of everyone I consider close," I yelled as well. "And who's fault is that," she yelled. "It isn't mine," I said. "It is yours, you didn't tell her that it's over, she's been caught up on you because you never told her that it's over it's your fault she's the way she is," she yelled. "It isn't my fault, I wanna know what happen to her between the time I left and returned, something happened that made her the way she is now," I said. "I guess we both have problems and things we don't know about and want answers," she said. "Thank you for watching over Hiromi in my absences, even when you died she still depended on you," she said. "Well yeah, that's because I'm her Senpai, I was the first one she dependened on after you died, everyone feared her because they thought she was the reason of her father and your death, people continued to tell me to avoid her but I couldn't because there was nobody else that would talk to her, I was the reason she smiled and started to like school because I was there to protect her, I wouldn't know what happen to her after I died but she came for me when I was in trouble, along with Tsumi, they came even though it was useless because she was weak but the effort was what matter, and yeah I know she didn't listen to me, when I told her to let me handle the problem with Yuka and she went and died trying to save her friend, but that's all the traits of you, she became what you dreamed of without you even saying anything," I said. Tears fell from her face, I then reached out to her to give her a hug "this bird is has already jumped and now she's gonna fly, trust she'll sore though those beautiful skies," I said while hugging her.
