"Gem?" I called, rushing towards the kitchen. I saw her immediately . Her arm was a gross green from the tips of her fingers to the end of her wrist, and her veins were an odd black color.

She slowly lifted her head as we came in, and I immediately leaned to her side.

"Louis we need to do it now." I rushed out, eying the gross infection on her wrist.

"Okay, hold on." He muttered, pressing the shot about an inch over the infection. I began biting my nails. "Okay the numbness should settle in within a minute. What do you plan on.. cutting it off with?" Louis asked, looking a little uneasy.

My eyes widened. I didn't think about it. "Uh.." I stuttered, and he rolled his eyes.

"Get me the sharpest knife you have, but make sure it's smooth and doesn't have the small blades on it." I nodded and stood to my feet, going to the sink. I opened the drawer and picked out the sharpest and most expensive knife my mom had, it was smooth and as long as my hand.

I looked at the two, to see Louis whispering to her, a small smile on her face. I looked at Louis with a fond look, noticing how beautiful he really was.

I shook my head and ran the rest of the way to them, handing the knife to him.

"Thanks." He said, smiling at me, and I internally melted before focusing on the task at hand.

"I have to really thank you, I don't think I'd be able to do this without fainting half way through it." I said, feeling nerves run through my body as he lightly pressed the knife to her skin.

"It's no problem," he told me, before speaking to my sister, "Okay Gemma if you feel any pain, tell me. It should be fully numbed, but you never know." Gemma shook her head, and I saw a few tears running down her face. I felt my own eyes watering as she answered, "yeah, okay. Please hurry."

I squeezed my eyes shut as Louis pressed the knife harder, cutting through her skin.

"I can't watch." I muttered, and looked at Louis' face instead. He looked really consentrated, and experienced. If we weren't in this situation, I'd probably be really turned on.

I let out a small scream as there was a bang on the front door.

"Harry, please go check on that. But be careful it can be another one of those things." Louis said, not taking his eyes away from the scene.

I nodded frantically, happy to leave the scene, and rushed to the door. I didn't listen to Louis before, and I stupidly just opened the door without looking.

"OH MY GOD." I squeeked as a body pushed into me. There were zombies everywhere, most of them about six feet away.

I quickly crawled toward the door and gripped the edge of it. The mid-thirties girl gripped my ankle and I used all my strength to slam the door closed, as one more squeezed in.

The guy threw himself on top of me and I held my arms out, stopping him from biting me. The one at my ankle moved forward, trying bite my foot, and I pulled my left foot up and kicked it in the face.

I held the other one over my face, groaning as I smelt his breath.

"Ew your breath stinks." I cried out, and reached with my right hand for the closest object to me - my moms pink heel.

I slammed the heel onto the things head and he let out a groan as he fell off of me. The lady one was crawling towards me, and it was than I noticed that her entire right eye was gone, nothing but blood running out of it.

I scrambled to my feet and pushed the small table onto the lady. It landed on her head and she let out a shriek before going limp.

"Well that was heavier than I thought." I said, shocked. I began taking deep breaths, placing my hands on my knees.

"Shit. Oh Shit." I gasped out, looking at the bodies.

"Harry, you okay?" I heard Louis call, and I looked at the bodies one last time before turning around. I wiped my bloody hands on my pants and walked back to the kitchen.

Thankfully , Louis was already done cutting Gemmas arm off, and had it wrapped up already. I tried to ignore the large amount of blood on the tiles around the two.

"Harry , you have blood on you." Gamma said. She was awfully pale, and was sweating really bad. She looked awful, it made me want to cry for her.

"Its nothing." I replied, now looking at Louis. I didn't know what to say. He was done helping us. Was he going to leave us now? Where will we go? What do we do now? I had so many questions.

"What now?" I asked instead, wanting to hear what he had to say. "If you don't mind.. I don't really want to be on my own right now." I felt a wave of pride hit me. He's going to stay with us than.

"Of course we don't mind. The more the marrier! But where do we go now? I don't think we can stay here long. We live really close to the city, and who knows how many of those things are out there." I said, shuddering. Louis nodded, looking in deep thought.

"Do you think we can stay here for a while longer? We need to find supplies just in case we do head somewhere far. And I have a place we can stay." Louis said, and I raised my eyebrows curiously.

"Really? Where?" I questioned, interested in his next answer.

"Underground."
