The rain drop slowly slid down the window, joining with other small rain drops to become bigger so that it could reach its destination quicker. I sighed and continued to watch the miserable day unfold before me. The rain trickling down, the clouds hiding the sun… no warmth only a chill in the air. I was sitting in the back of an empty classroom; I wanted to avoid him at all costs. I closed my eyes and put my head down on my desk and sighed remembering how the weekend was.

We were all sat at a table in an expensive restaurant. Tori was sitting on my right and Mr. King on my left. Jess was across from Tori and hadn't shut up since Fancy Pants got into the car. My father and Rebecca were at either end of the table and what's his name was seated on the other side of Jess. West let out a sigh from across me which caused me to look up from the table cloth I'd been staring at.

‘Katrina have you decided what you would like to order?' My father asked from the other end of the table.

'Yeah’

 'I beg your pardon'

'Yes dearest father I have decided what I'd like to order for my dinner this evening' I said in a posh tone.

I felt a sharp pain shoot up my foot and looked up to see Jess giving me a dirty look. Letting out a sigh I dropped my head into my hands, praying for this night to end quickly. I felt Tori place a hand on my shoulder and give me a comforting smile. I gave her a weak smile in response and stared at the full glass in front of me.

'So Katrina have you settled in well at the academy?' asked Mr. King

'It's a nice school' I smiled

'Shame about some people there' I muttered under my breath.

Yet again I felt pain shoot up my foot. I looked up to see my father, Rebecca and Jess giving me a dirty look.

'Can you stop freaking kicking me?' I spat quietly.

'Don't you dare use that language young lady?' My father sneered.

I rolled my eyes and stood up to go to the bathroom.

'Where do you think you're going?'

'To the bathroom. Is that ok with you or would you like to join me?' I glared at him.

He ignored my comment and turned to Mr. King apologizing for my "rudeness".

Rudeness my ass, they're the ones who made me come to this stupid dinner! After I had refreshed myself in the bathroom I washed my hands and fixed my hair before walking out of the bathroom and running into someone.

'I'm so sorry I wasn't watching where I was' I stopped mid-sentence when I saw who it was I ran into.

'Oh it's only you' I said while brushing past West.

He gripped my arm as I was about to pass and pulled me back.

'What do you think you're doing? Let go of me!'

He shook his head and pulled me closer.

'Did you forget what I said about not touching or talking to me or were you just born stupid?'

'No, I remember what you said Kitten'

'What the hell is with that nickname? You must be stupid' I huffed.

'You're as cute as a kitten but when you get angry you think you're all big and tough like a tiger...when really you're a harmless kitten' he smirked.
