I was walking down the corridor with Tori at my side. We were both dressed in our uniforms and were heading towards English. I stopped at my classroom door and gave Tori a quick wave as she went to the classroom across from my own. Unfortunately she didn’t have all the same classes with me.
I walked to the back of the classroom and sat down in a chair next to the window. I pulled out my phone and saw that I had a new message.

How’s the new school? Any hot guys?
It’s not the same without you. Wish you were here instead of there.

I smiled to myself and quickly texted back a reply.
Hey Eve,
Horrible! You should see the bloody uniform.
No hotties that I’ve seen so far.
Miss you too. But it was either this or Juvi.

Just as I hit send the teacher walked into the classroom.
“Hello class! Today we have a new student. Miss Scott would you please come and introduce yourself” chirped the teacher.
I heaved myself out of my chair with a sigh and walked to the front of the room.
“My name is Kat” I said and walked back to my seat.
“A bit more information please Miss Scott” sighed the teacher.
“Like OMG Jess your like sister is in like the same class as like us” screeched a brunette that was sitting near Jess.
“Please don’t insult me by saying I’m related to that” I said while jerking my thumb at Jess.
“I’m her step- sister unfortunately” I said while scrunching up my nose.
A few people chuckled but stopped when Jess sent them a dirty glare.
“Alright class today we will be” Started the teacher but I tuned out.
About halfway through the lesson the door flung open and in walked West. The teacher completely ignored him as he strolled over to the only empty seat, which unfortunately was beside me.
“Hello my little kitten” he whispered huskily.
I ignored him and turned to look out the window.
“Don’t be like that kitty” he said while pulling my chair closer with his foot.
“It’s Kat you moron” I hissed while pushing my chair back.
“I know but kitty is my little nickname for you”
“Well you can shove your nicknames up your ass and leave me the hell alone” I snapped.
“Feisty little Kitty aren’t we” he smirked.
I turned my attention to the teacher as she was explaining a project we would be doing.
“So we are working on poetry this term so I want you to get together with a partner and analyze a poem together outside of class. You will explain it to the class next week” explained the teacher.
“So partner when will meet?” asked West while putting an arm around my shoulders.
“How about never” I smiled sweetly.
“Well how will we work on it?” he smirked.
“We won’t work on it because I’m not going to go with you”
“Oh but you are look around everyone already has a partner” he said while gesturing to the rest of the class.
“You’ve got to be kidding me” I groaned while throwing my head into my hands.
The bell rang and I sprinted out of the classroom to where Tori was waiting outside.
“How was your first class?” she asked.
“Horrible I got stuck working will your idiot of a cousin”
“Come on let’s get to science” she laughed while pulling me to our next class.
Science went by smoothly and I sat with Tori in it.
Math was ok because Tori was in my class.
Sose was horrible because I had to sit near West and Tori wasn’t in my class.
Turns out he’s in all of my classes. Yay for me!
Lunch was next and I threw my stuff into my locker before following Tori to the cafeteria. I grabbed an egg sandwich and a raspberry ice tea while Tori grabbed a salad and a bottle of water. She walked over to a table with three girls sitting down at it already, she slid into an empty seat and I took the one opposite her.
“Guys this is Kat” smiled Tori.
“Kat this is Kelsey” she said while gesturing to a curly haired brunette with blue eyes.
“Eliza” she said while pointing to a girl with straight blonde hair, a box fringe and green eyes.
“And Ciara” she said while pointing to a girl with black wavy hair and brown eyes.
“Nice to meet you all” I smiled before taking a bite out of my sandwich.
They started talking about the school showcase that is held at the end of the year. Basically I wasn’t interested so I pulled out my IPhone and plugged in my headphones and blasted Earthquake by Labrinth. Movement caught my eye and I looked up to see Kelsey, Eliza, Ciara and Tori fixing their hair and clothes. What the hell are they doing that for?
Just then someone pulled one of my earphones out and took the seat next to me.
“Hello Kitten” smirked West.
“What do you want?” I huffed.
“To introduce you to my friends” he said while throwing an arm around my shoulders.
“Kitty this is Cole, Drake and my twin brother Daniel” he said while gesturing to the three boys that had pulled chairs over to our table.
“Pleasure now if you could be a love and bugger off” I smiled sweetly.
“Got yourself a feisty one there West” chuckled Daniel.
“Shut it Dani boy” I snapped.
“What have you got next?” asked Tori.
“It just says dance”
“Yeah because the rest of the day is dance classes” piped Kelsey.
“I have Hip Hop, Jazz, Classical and Partner dance”
“I have your classes” squealed Tori.
The bell rang and I stood with Tori.
“See you in class kitten” whispered West before giving me a kiss on the cheek and walking off.
“I hate your cousin” I complained to Tori while whipping my cheek.
“That make two of us” she laughed.
“Let’s go” she chirped while pulling me out into the cold winter wind and to our dorm to get our stuff for our dance lessons.
