Hey everyone,
I'm really sorry for not updating in a while. I'm on holiday's starting tomorrow so I'm planning on writing a lot over the next month or however long I have off of school. It's my goal to try and finish this book this year, early next year at the latest. I hope you're all enjoying and tell everyone about it so we can get more readers on board! I really like writing this book, it's quite fun to write because of the characters. Please vote and comment if you like this book, it would really mean a lot to me to know you guys are enjoying it. Thank-you so much.
Happy reading,

"BIG NEWS EVERYONE WEST AND JESS ARE NOW OFFICAL!"
I snorted as the girl ran across the school grounds screaming at the top of her lungs. Good for them but seriously who gives a rats ass? It's not like they're the first couple ever in the history of the school. It won’t last, that I can guarantee. It's probably just sexual attraction because let's face it their personalities aren't anything fantastic. I was so caught up in the conversation with myself that I ran into the devils themselves.
"Well my day just got ruined" I mumbled.
Jess gave me a cold glare while West raised an eyebrow, amused.
"How so?"
"Because I had to look at your face, be careful not to look in mirrors; they could break" I said while smiling sweetly and running off in the opposite direction.
As I ran away I caught what sounded like Jess saying 'Baby are you going to let her speak to me like that?!' I didn't catch West's reply as I quickly high tailed it around the corner where I ran into someone else.
"For the love of crackers!" I yelled while falling onto my butt on the ground.
"For the love of crackers?" repeated a deep voice, clearly amused.
I looked down at the shoes of the person I ran into and couldn't help but notice how shiny and new they looked...wait….that can only mean I ran into… I looked up at the tall figure bending over me and groaned.
"Today is really not a good day for me" I huffed and laid down on the floor.
"How is it not a good day?"
"Because I ran into the devil and his she devil and now I ran into you" I glared up at Ashton's smirking face.
"Come on shorty we gotta get you to class" he chuckled while bending down to help me up.
"No leave me alone to die!" I groaned while lying on the floor in the middle of the corridor, ignoring the help he offered.
"Good heavens! Miss Scott are you alright dear?!" called my English teacher as she was walking by to class.
An idea instantly stuck me and I held my head as if I was in the worst pain imaginable.
"I'm afraid not Miss, you see I was walking to class and slipped over. I think I got knocked out because the next thing I know I open my eyes to see Ashton looking down at me worriedly” I said, trying to make it seem as believable as I could.
"Goodness gracious! Mr. Blake take Miss Scott to the nurse right this instance! Don't worry about class you two may be excused today. I must go now, the rest of the class is waiting" She said flustered before hurrying off to the classroom.
The minute she was out of sight I jumped up and headed for the exit to go back to my dorm.
"And where do you think you're going?" called Ashton from behind me.
"Back to bed, maybe if I sleep off this bad day when I wake up I can get out of bed on the right side tomorrow!" I huffed and stormed into the cold outside.
When I reached my dorm I changed into my pajamas straight away and collapsed onto my bed where I closed my eyes, sighing in content as the silence surrounded me. I let out an annoyed scream when someone disturbed my peace by banging on my door as if it was a drum set. Not bothering to check my appearance I swung the door opened to reveal Tori glaring at me playfully.
"What do you think you're doing?" She exclaimed dramatically while I pushed the door open so she could enter.
I sat on my bed with my legs folded and tilted my head to the side silently asking her what she meant.
"Why are you in your pajamas in the dorm instead of your uniform in a classroom?"
"I fainted" I said while shrugging, hoping she didn't recognize my lie.
Her face instantly changed from a frown to a soft and worried expression.
"Oh god! Are you ok?!" she asked in one big breath while running over to my bed.
Putting on an act to make my story seem more realistic I rubbed my forehead and laid down on my bed, giving her what I hoped was a weak look before nodding slowly. I smiled inwardly to myself as she said about missing classes to look after me, even though I was one hundred percent fine. After a few minutes of reassuring her that I was ok and that if I rested then I would be fine for dance class this afternoon.
"YOU FAINTED THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL THAT YOU ARE DANCING TODAY!" she exclaimed loudly.
I pretended to act devastated about not going to dance class. Now I know you're probably thinking 'she doesn't really love dancing if she wants to miss class' and the answer to that is yes; I do love dancing, more than anything. The honest truth is just that I haven't slept much lately and it's starting to finally take its toll on me. I'd rather dance when I'm 100% perfectly fine rather than 30% ok. Less chance of an injury occurring if I dance when I'm feeling my best.
I finally drifted off to sleep and woke up late in the afternoon. After lying in bed contemplating if I could ignore my stomach any longer or not, I came to the conclusion I couldn't put off eating any longer. With that thought in mind I rolled out of bed and started hunting down a vending machine. I didn't want to go to the cafeteria or the dining hall. I just wanted a bottle of juice and a chocolate bar or something. I could hold out for a proper meal until dinner time. After wondering around for a while I finally found a vending machine and stocked up on snacks to last me until dinner time. With my armful of goodies I made my way back to the room where I pulled out my laptop and watched a movie while pigging out on my food. At some point I must have fallen asleep because I was suddenly woken up by the sound of Tori slamming her dance bag down on the desk.
"Well good evening Miss Sunshine" I smirked at her.
"So not in the mood Kat!" She huffed while throwing her hands in the air and walking into the bathroom.
I laughed quietly to myself and waited for Tori to shower so she could vent out how horrible her day was.
The bathroom door swung open and fog flowed out after Tori.
"IT IS SO NOT FAIR THAT I GOT STUCK WITH HIM AS A DANCE PARTNER! I MEAN WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS CRUEL TREATMENT? IS THIS GOD PUNISHING ME BECAUSE I'M A RANGA!?"
"Who's your partner?"
"COLE FREAKING HORTON!"
I burst out laughing at the look on her face. Man she was not happy to be his partner.
"I wouldn't be laughing if I was you; you're not with West anymore."
I raised an eyebrow at her.
"You're now dance partners with Ashton Blake"
Someone please stab me now.
