Tara Raymond The Quest (Completed)

Coming Home.

 "I guess I should go tell the front office I'm going home." Wally's face brightened."Seriously?" "Yeah. I guess maybe I should go and save Megann from a disaster of Adam." Wally's face dimmed and then picked me up. We ran to the building and I quickly climbed up to my window. I peeked in only to see Eathen there talking with Megann who looked like me. I opened the window and climbed in. Eathen looked over at me then back at Megann who still looked like me. He was so confused. I just started to laugh. "You're pulling my leg right. There isn't a double of you." I shook my head.

"Okay I think we should stop messing with him." Megann turned back to herself and Eathen was still shocked. I turned to Megann and said,"Hey Rob needs to tell you something." Megann nodded and left the room. I sat down on my bed and said,"Eathen I need to talk to you."He nodded and sat on his bed."I'm going home. If I stay here any longer I will put the whole school in danger and I can't do that. It was fun getting to know you." Eathen looked a little sad." Okay but in a couple of weeks can I come to Central City and see you in action." I just laughed."Yeah I'll like that and hey if it makes you feel better your the only friend I have who doesn't have powers to know I have some."

 He smiled."Okay this is getting sad." I said. Then I grabbed my pillows and started to throw them at him with all my strength. He fell back when it hit him. He grabbed his pillow and threw at me. We both just laughed. I got off my bed, pulled out my suitcase that was under my bed, and placed it on my bed. Eathen got up and started to help me pack.

As I shut my suit case I looked around at my empty side of the room. "Eathen I'll be back I have to go talk to the person who got me here in the first place." I walked out the door. As I came up to Tony's classroom, I started to get a bit sad that I never finished out the year. I opened the door and walked in to see Tony at his desk. He looked up, saw me and said,"Tara, is there something wrong?" "Actually yeah there is." He stood up from his desk and started to walk towards me,"What's up?" "So I'm going home and I'm not coming back. I came to say thanks for the experience and it was an honor to learn from you, but I can't put the school in more danger than it already is." He looked at me like I had grown 3 heads."You didn't put the school in danger." He took a step forward and I backed away."Yes I did. The villain wouldn't of even came if I wasn't here."

 "You knew who came. Did you tell the Justice League?" "I didn't need to. I just had to tell a friend and they told them which really made me mad because they knew I can take care of myself." "Tara, you aren't like them. If he was here to hurt you than you couldn't protect yourself." I knew he said I wasn't but since I'm leaving and I can really trust him plus he needs to know why Slade was here. I took a deep breath and said," The villain who came was named Slade Wilson. For a couple of years I thought he was gone but when I came here soon did he. He was after me. He wanted back his servant and I didn't want to go." Tony looked confused." Don't you think it's weird that all of the Justice League's old sidekicks were here but F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M.'s. Maybe she wasn't there because she was already here." Tony seemed to get it a little bit."Your saying that you're a superhero." 

"Yeah I am." He just started to laugh. I started to get mad. Like seriously I'm leaving and stopping what I've wanted to do since I was 5 to protect the school and you laugh.My eyes filled with fire and Tony shut up right there."I try my very best to keep this a secret and when I tell you why this school is in danger of being hurt all you do is laugh." He started to back away from me as I walked towards him. I heard the door open but I didn't even look at who it was. The only thing I knew that Wally and Aqualad were grabbing my arms to hold me back. I turned to Aqualad and gave him a stare that meant 'Let me go' I saw Robin run in the door and he got in front of me and said,"T calm down we need that anger somewhere else." I stopped right there. Then I heard someone in my head. Slade was in my head," Silly girl you can go home but you'll never run away from me. I'll always be with you. You would be here if it wasn't for me. Now come back you Brat or I'll come and get you by force."

 I fell on the ground, put my hands on my ears ,and yelled,"Get out of my head. I will find you and I will end you." Then it was gone. He wasn't in my head but I knew that wouldn't be the last time he would be in my head.I tried to stand up but stumbled. Wally came and held me up. When I got my balance back I went to the main office and told them I was leaving. When I got back to my room Eathen was still there. I went over to Eathen and gave him a hug. When we stopped hugging he said,"What was that for?" I grabbed my suit case and said,"For being my friend and not giving up on me when I kind of scared the crap out of you with psycho." After I said my final goodbyes I left the school and went with my team to the Bio- Ship. I was going home.
