   Tara's POV

Let's just say that hitting the Joker wasn't the best idea. Luckily, Harley got them to take mercy on me. I have a feeling that she knows I'm lying about being evil. Which was soon proven right.

       I lay in my "Room" when Harley came in. "Tara, we need to talk." My eyes widened at her words. I sat up on my bed so I was sitting and I gave her room to sit."What about?" She sat down and then continued,"I'm not stupid. You don't want to work for Slade or Ravager. So why are you going to?"  "Because I can't have the people I care about hurt. Why do you think I didn't come to see you? If I hung out with heroes and came to see you they would hurt you and never trust me.  Plus Harley I have a little brother. I can't lose him or have him hurt because I wasn't able to protect him." "Your still that devises girl I watched aren't you?" "At times and then at other times I jump to conclusion that can risk my whole team. I know have to do and it's going to kill me to do it." 

     I stayed there many nights and got use to the beatings again. Harley didn't stay long. I know I don't show it much but Harley is one of my friends. Even if she is evil I know she wouldn't hurt me. The night I wasn't looking for had came. Every night the beatings from Slade got worst. He'd beat me until I pass out. Then fix me up for the next beating the next night. I laid in my bed when I started to hear sounds of arrows hitting the wall. Then I heard the chuckle of Robin. I couldn't help but smile. Joker came in my room and grabbed me. "You called them and double crossed us." I just smiled. He raised his hand and slapped me. I looked at him again. I spit in his face. Doing that got me thrown into a wall. I was on the floor trying to breath, I most likely had a couple of ribs broken. 

     Joker grabbed me and held a knife to my throat. I saw a blur of yellow zip past then it stopped. Wally stood there looking at me. My eyes widened when I saw Roy was here. All 3 of them just looked at me. Waiting for me to do something. Then I heard,"Mr. J are we going here .... Tara." Harley stopped where she was. She looked over at the boys and at the Joker. "Boys, go." I manged out. They went to run, but Joker yelled,"Harley stop them." Harley threw something that was about to hit Rob but Wally jump in front of him. "NOOOOO!!!!!" I yelled. I went into flames, burning Jokers hands. I ran over to Wally and lucky for me the boys got him before he fell on the ground. Joker ran out without me knowing.

     Harley came up to us, I had Wally's head on my lap. "Tara you and your friends get out of here, I'll give time to leave." Roy but in,"DF how do you know you can trust her. She works with the Joker." "Your right she does work with the Joker, but she was the only family I had for the longest time. I can't leave her here to face Joker by herself. Rob get KF back to the cave. Give him food, I'll be there as soon as I can." Rob's face fell. "Your seriously going to stay with her. Wally hasn't ate, slept, stopped looking for you since that night and now you're going to stay behind to save a villain." "Not a villain, my family. Wally will come first get him to the cave. I can afford to lose any one even if that meant giving up on me. Tell Troy I love him." 

"How sweet." I hated the voice who said that.  I turned around and there stood Halloween. "You bad mistake for staying behind. Rob and Roy got Wally up and were leaving. "You want me not them. You already destroyed the person I was. You broke me." He threw a knife and I wasn't fast enough and I went into my arm. I pulled it out screeching in pain. I went into flames and attacked. Harley did what I wanted her to do, she ran. She got of there with not being hurt, which was what I needed her to do. I wasn't long before I was defenseless against Slade, but as I fell on the ground while my eyes where getting heavy I could see that the Justice League was there. That was the last thing I remember. 

A/N Hey guys sorry its been so long since I updated but here it is there is going to be like maybe 4 chapters left tops. But thanks for staying with me threw this amazing journey of Tara. Saddly as I know of this will be the last on of the series unless I have anymore Ideas but you'll see why in a couple chapters but bye.
