Chapter 4: Stolen...again

As Matt and I walked through the hall's he told me his schedule. "Awh, we got mostly the same classes, except foorr~" i looked at him, "6th period, haha! You have Gym!!" I playfully shoved him. "Oh! My friend wants to meet you! She like REALLY wants to meet you!" I laughed awkwardly. "Kool..." Matt said, almost blankly. I think he reached for my hand....i'm not sure because i was soon yanked away from Matt and toward the regular bullies of the school, Alfred, Toni and Gil. "Gah...l-let go...p-please...i-i just wan-want to eat lunch..." I stuttered.  "Ha! Little bitty Mattie thinks he can get lunch without our pay?" Gil chuckled. "Yea! Who do you think you are dude? Just because you're my brother doesn't mean you're not allowed to pay up!"  Alfred laughed, and Toni, Toni just stood there smiling. Sometimes i don't quite understand why such a nice guy would be hanging around these idiots... "Hey" a low voice came from the other side of me. "Let him go!" Matt glared at Gil, but still sent chills down my spine. "Awh, is Matthew and Matt bonding?" Gil teased. "I said, LET HIM GO!" And in the next flash i was tossed to the ground. "Wha..." I looked over my shoulder, and there lay Gilbert, blood flowing from his nose, and his body lay unconscious. "Gil!" I heard Destiny scream as she came running towards him. I was taking by surprise when Matt helped me back up. "Are you alright?" He said, dusting me off. I hugged him, not realizing that Destiny was crying just below me. "You monster!" She shouted, "You horrible monster! How could you do this?!" She screamed, and slapped Matt, he didn't even batt an eye. "Is this really him?! Is this the monster you are so desperate to be in love with?!" She shouted at me, and she never has ever shouted at anyone especially not me. My face went blush even though i was hurt by her words. Gil sat up, with the help of Toni and Alfred. "You knooo vhat?!" Gil's german accent became stronger but his words where slurred, almost like he was drunk. "Fuuck you!" He went to swing and Matt, but missed entirely, and landed in his arms. "..." Matt stood there, unfazed and pretty much not even scared. "And you knoo vhat else! I like yoo...good zport! I von't bother you...." He pulled himself up out of Matt's arms, patting Matt, then being dragged away with Alfred and Toni to the lunch room. "Ga..." Destiny smiled awkwardly. "S-sorry...a-about that..." Matt placed his arm on her shoulder, and tried smiling. "Its...ok..." I looked at Matt, he was trying so hard, it was too cute. I found myself blushing at the sight of it, spacing out. "Helloooo???? Earth to Mattie????" I heard Destiny say. "Hm what?" "Eh...you're drooling a bit..." Destiny pulled out her favorite handkerchief and cleaned me up. "Come on...im STARVING!!" She chuckled. I walked over to our little "table" and sat down, eating the delicious food that my mother has made for me. "Mattie..." I looked over my shoulder and there sat Matt. "Hm, yesh...mat.." I said. "Can you...um..." He rubbed the back of his head nervously...making him and I both blush slightly. "Can you come in the line with me..." Before i could even say a single word, another voice came behind Matt, making me shudder in my spot. I growled "Why hello there new boy..." The girl's hand slowly graced its self on Matt's shoulder, trailing up and around his face. "The names Katarina..." Her smirk just gave even me more chills. Man, i hated this girl. She was the popular type of course....leader and vice coach of the cheerleading squad, blah blah blah, you know what i mean. "So..." She stroked Matt's cheek. "What's a cutie like you hanging out with these losers." She shook her head in my, her odd curl bouncing, and the rest of the tables direction. "Come on, let me and Daisy take you in line, with our cooler friends!" She quickly grabbed Matt taking him away, while Daisy skipped behind. I sighed, that wasn't the first time she has taken one of my friends like that...hopefully that was the only time my friend actually become popular with them...and bully me...and have feelings for my best friend... "Sh-shit..." I was crying again. Lunch went by pretty quickly, Matt sat with the popular kids...and i just ate with my "friends"...other then Destiny i feel like no one really notices me...The bell rang and everyone went to class. "Mattie..." I felt a strong hand grab my shoulder, making me shiver. 'Oh god' i thought, 'you're gunna bully me too huh?' Matt turn me around and hugged me. I could here many gasps and a couple snickers here and there. "Hug me back...please" he whispered in my ear. I didn't know what to say, myself wanting to push Matt away, i hugged him. More gasps and chatter filled the hall. "Hey! Matt! You're gunna be later for class!" I heard Katarina say before grabbed Matt and dragging him away. I could feel my face was already pink, as i slowly followed Matt and Katarina to our next class. The rest of the day seemed pretty shallow, Matt sat with Katarina and ,sometimes, Daisy included for the rest of the day, while i sat lonely by myself like my usual days go.
And that was it...
At least...
