I lay on the hard bed staring up at the ceiling, everything inside feels exposed. My throat aches more, I haven't eaten and I have no sense of time. The darkness of the night didn't take long to creep up on us, the moon shines through the securely bared window casting and dim light over the prison cell that I am trapped in. I listen to him pacing over the floor boards, not once have I really heard him sit down. He did go out for a long time earlier on, I kicked the door, I pulled and thrashed at the handle... I even pulled at the bars on the window, I tried everything I possibly could to escape. It wasn't any use, I was in fact permanently stuck here. As soon as I hear the shuffles of his feet coming through the front door I scarper away from the door.

He told me to strictly stay silent in my room, I decide to do as I was told. There just wasn't any point fighting, it wasn't going to get me anywhere. I had to be smart, think of a plan and be patient; that was the only way I could escape from this hell hole.

The cold air fails to bother me anymore, my body has numbed and all I can feel is exhaustion along with a deep unfulfilled hunger. I stare at my strange reflection in a cracked mirror across the room. My appearance has changed, pale with fear and my eyes are dark, tired even. I look a state with my matted hair sticking up in all directions, if only I had a hair brush. I look unrecognizable, I see unfamiliar features that look monster like. My face is coated in a layer of dirt from being dragged, I run my finger over the teary streaks coming down from my eyes. I'd kill for a shower.

Suddenly I shoot a look to the door!
He's coming in!

I crawl into the far corner of the bed and huddle myself into a tight, protective ball. I allow myself to peak up at him, he doesn't take his eyes off me as he steps slowly over to me. His glare is fuelled with pure evil as he reins over me knowing he has power and control. The silence protrudes as his eyes linger over my trembling body, each second feels like an hour that has passed before he mumbles something under his breath.

Despite the darkness that follows him, I can see he really is rather attractive. His cheek bones are hard and prominent. His pale skin lights up beautifully in the moon light and his mop of dark hair is ruffled in an unimaginable sexy way. However, he may be attractive but it doesn't change what he has done to me. The thought makes my stomach churn like snakes curling round a small dark pit.

He is a dirty tramp!

Slowly he steps over to me closing the comfortable gap between us; cautious and waiting. I build the courage up inside me to speak. Sooner or later I must get the answers I need. Everyone has a reason for their actions...

"Who are you?" I whisper as every ounce of my confidence diminishes. His piercing stare intimidates me, I feel weak and feeble in his presence. A sickening sweet smell lingers up my nostrils as he coughs before placing his masculine hands into the pockets on his jeans. He seems comfortable and at ease as though it hasn't been the first time he has held someone captive.

What if I'm not the only one here? Or perhaps he has another cabin elsewhere?

"Ethan, my name is Ethan," he speaks with a voice that could slice through every type of atmosphere. There is a bluntness in his tone, he makes it evident that he isn't interested in small talk and clearly isn't going to tell me who he really is. I only deserve a name; nothing more, nothing less. Finally, I nod, deciding that I should stay quiet only to make things easier on myself until I work up a way to escape that is.

"Are you hungry?" He asks me firmly. Reluctantly I nod glumly; I am very hungry I can't lie however I don't feel like food right now. My heart lies elsewhere.

I just want to go home, wherever that is... I realise then that I have no memory of who I am or where I live. Who am I? What is my name?

Ethan holds out his hand gently which surprises me, I hesitate though. This angers him making his eyes flick red, uncontrollably I let out a small gasp of horror. I take his hand in hope not to anger him any further, allowing him to gently hoist me off the bed. I become bewildered from his gentle touch and an alluring scent drifts up my nostrils intoxicating me. It is him, he smells different from earlier; he smells sweeter.

I can feel myself warming to Ethan despite what he has done. I allow him to guide me out of the bedroom and he leads me towards a kitchen diner. Despite his evil intentions, I believe there is something good inside him... everyone has a good side.

I am hit with a warmth when entering the kitchen, it is scarcely furnished and extremely outdated. I find no comfort that the walls are just simple logs keeping me from the outside world but I note that the window is just an open hole in the wall, I silently weigh up the chances of fitting through it. If I suck in my stomach I may just fit through, it isn't the fastest escape plan but I could make it work; gain Ethan's trust first to allow me to wonder the house. I look away from the window quickly before he realises that I am planning something.

Turning my attention to the room, I step cautiously around the kitchen noticing a simple iron stove at the far corner, I take note that there isn't much food to cook and very limited pots and pans. A strange smell lingers in the air catching my attention. There aren't any plates set out...

What is that? Nothing is cooking.

My insides start to buzz and my eyes grow wide. My throat begins to burn and my gums ache. I whip round looking at Ethan who stands in touching distance, I steady myself by placing a hand on the wooden table. Automatically I take in a long deep breath through my nose, the scent is strong but it smells like iron. It isn't a familiar smell, nothing like eggs or bacon; but it is meaty... however it doesn't smell like beef. It's different and new, it makes my tastes buds wake up and tingle as my mouth salivates.

"Let go baby girl, I think you're almost ready. Let go of your human modesty, don't fight it," his breathes into my ear seductively. I try to fight but the feelings are too strong, then suddenly, my body begins to ache! My jaw throbs with pain as I feel my canines extend, breaking through my gums into vicious fangs. My insides panic as tears prick my eyes!
"Ahh!" I let out a groan as the ache hurts just like having a tooth pulled out in the dentist or an abscess in the gum.

What the fuck is this? What's happening to me?

I scream out crumbling to the floor. The pain is unreal as I claw at my head willing it to go away. I stare up at Ethan and stretch my arm out to him, willing him to help. To my surprise, he takes my hand gently in his, I feel his warmth which comfort me.
"Let go..." Ethan breathes again, he allows his hands to run over me, feeling me, toying with my breasts. I feel sick rise within me. I want him to stop, I don't want this.

The fight is too strong, I can feel myself weakening, my eyes close over and the aching gradually decreases; everything becomes warm and my brain becomes black. Eventually I manage to open my eyes, I spot my reflection in a dirty mirror hanging from the wall. I gasp seeing a girl with eyes that hold ruby red flames of fire, flickering in the centre of large hungry pupils... What has he done to me?
