Chapter 9

Alan and I decided to get to the bottoms of this. I was still angry with him for the whole kidnapping thing, but I couldn't really blame him. He was lied to and made to think that his mate was being hurt. I would probably do the same thing if that was happening to my mate. We had a long talk a about things and he explained what Nancy had lied to him about. She is nasty, I feel really bad for him.

We drove to Elton's pack house. It was huge, it was the most beautiful mansion that I have ever seen. The grounds were beautifully manicured. There was a pond to the right of the house with a fountain and there were all sorts of small animals scurrying around it looking for food. There were all kinds of flowers everywhere, so many types, I probably couldn't name them all if I tried. The trees lined the road leading to the mansion. Behind the mansion was a great forest, looked perfect for running in and playing in wolf form. The yard at the back was huge, lots of room for gatherings and other social events. As we pulled up, Elton was angrily waiting in the front of the house. He looked Ike he was going to rip Alan's head off. I tell you, I was a little scared at that moment to get out of the car.

I got out of the car, "Hi, Elton."

"What the fuck are you doing with this asshole? Did I not tell you to stay away from him?" He was practically yelling. He was starting to shake, "and why the he'll would you bring him here?"

I walked over to him and put my hand on his arm to calm him down. "Please Elton, you have to hear us out." I begged him.

"I have nothing to say to him," Elton said.

"Well, he has something to say to you." I said. "Alan, can you please explain before he looses it?"

"Elton, I realize that we haven't gotten along in the past, it's because someone very close to both of us has been lying to us. Nancy is my mate." Alan explained.

"That's ridiculous, Nancy's mate died in the conflict." Elton huffed.

"Please Elton, he is telling the truth," I said.

"She lied to me Elton, and she lied to you. She told me that you were holding her captive in the basement and forcing her to have sex with you and marry you. She also said that your mate died and that's why you wanted her. She told you that I died so that she could become your Luna. I am not proud to be her mate." Alan said with sadness in his eyes.

Elton was quiet. He was absorbing all that was said. In that silent moment, the front door opened and Nancy was screaming orders at the kitchen staff, so she didn't see us all standing there. Elton looked at her with hurt in his eyes, and so did Alan. Me? I just wanted to punch her in the face. She turned to see the three of us standing there and she gasped. "A...Alan, why- what are you doing here?" She stumbled over her words.

"I was about to ask you how you got out of your cell, dear?" he sarcastically sneered at her.

"Uhhh...um...I don't...shit." She looked so stupid at this moment, not sure what to say and knowing the she is caught and everyone knows the truth.

"Shit is right Nancy. I Alan Grey reject you Nancy Stone!" as Alan said that, both of their hearts broke and tears flowed from her eyes.

She looked at Elton and came running over to him, "Now we can be together, like it should be." She said as she tried to wrap her arms around him.

"I don't think so Nancy, you lied to me, you also lied to your mate. I don't want anyone like that in my life, and especially to be my Luna. Besides that, I have a mate, and I have found her, and I have to concentrate on trying to convince her that she is the only one for me." He looked at me with adoration in his eyes. I melted at the look and at the words that he spoke. He made me feel like I could really trust him. It's still going to be a lot of work for him to win me back. Although my wolf wants to take him right now, she is going to have to wait until the time is right.

"NO, honey, please Elton, don't do this to me? What about our history together?" She pleaded with him.

"All lies Nancy," he just stated and stared at her. A minute later a gaurd came out carrying a suitcase and grabbed Nancy's arm as he approached Elton. "Take her away, I think that there is a pack in Austrailia looking for new members." He said.

The guard nodded his head and took her to the awaiting car, I didn't notice it pull up. And she was gone. I looked at Alan and he seemed to be lost, "I guess I'll go, I am sorry Elton, maybe we can start over someday." With that he turned and got in his car and drove off, leaving me with my mate.
