I walked out the school and slowly inhaled and exhaled the fresh air that I needed. I heard the door open and heard his voice.

"What's the problem, Brooks? You can trust me, you know?" He said, holding my hands and rubbing it, comforting me. He's a real sweetheart. I love him. He's the greatest friend I've ever met.

"I trust you. It's just... It's just I can't speak about right now. If I do, I'll end up crying. I would tell you, but the last thing I want is for someone to pity me." I told him. I leaned in and kissed his lips.

"Okay.. When you're ready, tell me. I won't pressure you." Elliot hugged me. I just realized the friends with benefits thing is over, so I apologized for kissing him. He said it was alright, we were used to it.

"I love you, Brooks." He tucked my hair behind my ear and kissed my forehead.

"I love you, too, bro." Elliot is literally like a brother to me. When the other one left, I decided to treat Elliot as my brother, even when we were friends with benefits, I still treated him like a brother.

Elliot frowns for a while, then quickly recovers it with a smile. "Yeah, okay, sis." He slapped me and ran away. I gasped and ran after him, smacking him when I caught him. I'm tall, too. He's just 2 inch taller.

Meet me at my house for the tutorial after school. (His address).. See you. -N

I read the message and texted him back:

Why your house? -B

He replied, saying:

I can't leave my brother at the house alone. My parents are out, working. You don't know what he's capable of doing when I leave him alone. Once, I left him alone to buy some food and he almost burned the house down! And also, once, he made a party with his friends and the house ended up like a place where all of the garbage were put in to. And a lot more.

I rolled my eyes, and typed in:

He's grade 9, Noah. And I knew because when Jack called me, he picked up the phone when you fought Jack for some reason and he told me that he's the same grade at my sister. He's more mature now.

I put my phone down and started reading. I had free, so it was either going to the library, or staying at class with the substitute teacher. Literally all of the people in my class stood up and left. I heard a vibrate from my phone, signaling me that I had a new message.  Noah messaged me back.

Right... Mature.. Well, anyways, when am I going to tutor you?

My reply was:

The park. A park where most people don't go to. And I know exactly where it is.

The only reason why I told him the park is so that after a couple of minutes, I can ditch my books and run around and play on the swings and run around the water sprinklers that waters the plants. There are plenty of those.

He replied, instantly:

Noah: Park? Why would you want to study at the park? Let's study somewhere else. Like a library

Brooklyn: Booooring... The park is way more fun.

Noah: That's the reason. If you find anything distracting in the park, we'll never get done.

Brookly: so? Please! I promise you, I will focus on the studies and not the fun things at the park.

Noah: Fine. But please, don't run away and do something crazy when you're suppose to study.
