Chapter 7

Today is the day...The day for the 'date'. And I haven't even gotten ready yet. I looked at the clock, it says 5:43 pm and the date is suppose to be at 6:30. I groaned, closing my laptop. Why did I even agreed to this? I'm too lazy.

I looked through my closet to find a descent clothe for the 'date'. I called Elliot and asked him what time he's picking me up. He said he's going to pick me up at 6:00. Good, I have more time to get ready. As soon as I hang up, I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. And took a quick shower, too.

I heard my phone ring, it's still 5:51, Elliot said he would pick me up at 6:00 and I'm still picking what dress I should wear.

It wasn't Elliot. It was Jack. Jack? Hmm.. Jack never usually calls me.

"Hey, Jack. What's up?" I answerd.

"Oh, you know the stars, the sky, love. Love is in the air so...." He replied. I heard a thump in the background and a groan.

"You're lame. I bet you're just excited for the date with Brianna. Why did you call anyways? Do you want to know what's her favorite flower?" I decided not to wear a dress and instead wear a white jeans, a sweater that has the letter 'B' on it, and wear a high boots.

"Nope. I already know what her favorite flower is. I was just wondering if Noah could come." He said and laughed at the end. I heard another thump "Ouch!" Jack yelled. I put the phone on speakers so I could dress up or do my makeup so I wouldn't waste time.

"Sorry about that, Brooks. Um.. He's just joking. I don't want to go to that date cause I would just ruin it cause you know..." I assumed that Noah took the phone from Jack.

"You guys are acting weird." I said while I put my mascara on. "What with all the thud in the background?"

"Oh that's nothing." He said, out of breath and followed with an "Ow! You asshole." I chuckled.

"Hello? Are you still there?" A voice that isn't familiar to me said through the phone.

"Umm.. Yeah? Who's this?" I asked.

"I'm Noah brother, Gabriel. I'm also your sister's, Andrea's, classmate." He respond. Oh. I heard a yell of agony.

"Are they alright?" I asked while I put on my boots. I know, I'm a professional at this. Talking to the phone while dressing up. Everyone does it, I guess.

"Yeah. Jus-" he was interrupted.

"Give me the phone back." Jack was still laughing. "So can Noah come?"

"Um.. It your date, not mine."

"Umm.. It's yours and Elliot's date too." He has a point.

"Okay. Fine." As soon as I said that, he yelled in victory. I didn't even know why I agreed. "Umm.. What?" I asked.

"Nothing. I got to go. See you later, bye." Then he hang up on me. Very weird.

Knock. Knock.

It must be Elliot. I went downstairs and saw Andy in the living room.

"I'm going out for a while. I'll see you later. Do you want anything?" I asked.

"Skittles, please." She loves skittles. I mean, I do too. But she's obsess with it.

"Sure." I went to her and hugged her, tightly. "I love you, sis." And she replied the same thing.

I went to Elliot's car and greeted him. He smiled at me. "Excited?" He asked.

"Psh. Obviously.........Not"

"Hey!" I heard Jack yell. Someone is excited. Brianna and Jack are surely meant to be. They're the same. Loud, always excited, romantic, and athletic. Brianna is a volleyball player. And she also used to be a cheerleader.
