Best Friends Forever?

The Town Disaster

Kat and her friend Violet were walking around the town of L.A. when they were oddly walking towards an ally way with a group of older guys staring them down, Kat and Violet weren't wearing anything convincing but as soon as Violet took a closer look at them she could see the group of guys slowly walking towards them, as Violet nudges Kat the group starts walking faster and Kat grabs Violet's arm and starts running further into the ally.

Soon enough Kat and Violet are stuck at a dead end and the gangsters are right there behind the two girls, but soon enough two young teenage boys walk through the group to see what was going on there, the two teenagers talk to the gangsters to tell them to leave the girls alone and the group take their leave, Kat and Violet were shocked, the two teenage boys escort the two girls into an empty place where it was filled with markets that had nothing in them it has been said that no one has been there in over 20 years so the group eventually took it over.

Violet was talking to one of the young teenagers who was called Zac and Kat was talking to the other handsome teenager called Dakota. It seemed that Kat and Dakota got along pretty well and so did Violet and Zac after awhile Violet decided they all should hang out and try to get to know each other better but later on Zac and Violet ditched Kat and Dakota, somehow in the end they found each other again and Violet had some news for them "we're dating". Kat was in shock she didn't know something like that would happen neither did Dakota, Violet and Zac left again so Dakota decided to do something fun and climb on top of buildings and talk about the future and life stories. Near the end of the day Kat got really tired and almost fell asleep she pulled three all nighters straight to finish something she was working on that she didn't tell anyone about which included her being immortal, she was so tired she almost fell of the building but Dakota managed to catch her, Dakota realised that it was probably time to come down so he carried her down and tried to find Violet but soon enough he found her and asked if he could stay over at her place because he won't be able to go back home after bringing Kat home, luckily for him Kat's mom was out of the country so Dakota could come over and stay with Kat to make sure she's safe he didn't want to see her getting hurt and/or getting in danger.

They took the next bus and went to her house, no one was home for some reason so they slept in the bigger room, Dakota tried to keep her as close as possible to him so it would be safer and warmer because the window was cracked but that wasn't a problem Kat had a bad dream and she was clinging on to Dakota as if she was falling and/or being chased. What Dakota didn't know was she was a vampire and was stronger than before so Kat was kind of hurting him.

In the morning Dakota woke up earlier and decided to make breakfast for Kat so she wouldn't have to go through the trouble making it herself, after he finished making breakfast Kat was already up and gave Dakota a surprise but Dakota thought it was kind of a jump scare instead of a surprise and was a bit frightened, they both laughed it of and started eating the breakfast together they both were talking about what happened last night and Dakota asked what type of dreams/nightmare Kat had, she said she was getting chased by a group of clowns.

Still in the middle of eating breakfast Kat asked Dakota who the group of gangsters were and Dakota almost choked on his food, in fairness Dakota didn't know the group that well except that they were called the 'Town Troublemakers' because they would steal stuff and beat up random people even girls and little kids, Kat was confused she thought that Dakota and Zac were part of the group but Dakota denied said that his dad is a police officer and that his older brother is part of the group.

Kat wanted to know how did they come at the right time and Dakota answered saying that they are always in town and they just kind of saw Kat and Violet and so when they were walking past and Zac really liked Violet and he didn't want her getting hurt so he thought that he should help the Violet out and Dakota was obviously not going to leave Kat on her own.

Later on they fully finished eating their breakfast and Dakota took his leave and said he might come out later and asked if Kat wanted to join and she didn't refuse, they exchanged numbers and were texting each other from then on.
