As we walked home I wasn't worried. People don't recognize me like this. They all just see me as a pretty girl. Honestly my biggest fear was being jumped. But, I had Cherry next to me, and she still looked like a soc, so I don't think anything could happen today. I feel so much better in my converse then in my heels, with my hair straight and messy rather then curly and perfect, I feel better without the dress, flannel and jeans are perfect for me. Basically, I feel great being myself and not trying to please others.
We turned the corner of our street, where I kept my head down just incase my school friends might see me. Again, I wasn't really worried. We walked into her house, her mom knows about my secret life too. "Hello Cherry, Hi Mona, good evening girls." Her mom greeted us. "Hello Mrs.Vanalce." I said. "Hey mom" cherry said. "Mona! I've told you a million times to me call me mom" She said cheerfully. "Oh yea, I forgot. Sorry.." I hesitated, "Mom." She smiled at me. We sat down and ate dinner as a...family. It was weird saying that word honestly. I only refer to the gang & Cherry as my family. We had porkchops. I didn't really eat much, considering I had just dissected a pig heart earlier. But I took a few bites to be polite. Cherry & I went upstairs after dinner and finished studying.
Ever since I moved in they placed another bed in her bedroom and added another bathroom for me. She already had a bathroom to herself, by her bed. Now I have one for myself by my bed. I'm always leaving my stuff in hers though, just like how I left my straighter there yesterday without realizing until this afternoon. Suddenly remembering that, I went in there and took it out so I could put it back in my bathroom. We got ready for bed, we got into our pjs, threw our clothes into the laundry basket, and finally turned the lights off.
