Howie's POV
So all of yesterday was spent at the court. The divorce was finalized and over with. I was officially a single dad with two kids.
Now the kids were still asleep cuz they're pretty tired. Kevin, Brian and their cousin Stacey were over at my place. The guys, and girls, Were incredibly supportive of me. They all were.
The guys helped me stay level headed while Stacey took care of the kids. She took the kids, to parks, ice cream places and stuff while I was busy with court stuff.
She took a great burden off me. Which I am thankful for.
Kevin, Brian, Stacey and I were in the living room. We were talking about random stuff. We got to talking about the divorce and everything when Kevin jokingly said, "Well at least you're single now, eh D? You can have "fun" again"
"Dont listen to him Howie, He's an idiot, and has no information on dating,girls or love", Stacey cut him off.
"Excuse you cus, but I have a 'girl' already"
"Just cuz you're crushing on someone doesnt mean you have her"
"Ohhhh Burn!!!!", Brian yelled
Kevin shot him an angry glare, and I stared at them confused. I was so wrapped up in the divorce I had no idea Kevin was after someone! Seeing my confused look, Brian said
"*cough* Vanessa *cough*", Brian said
"Ohhhhh", I said as I understood who she was. Long time friend of ours actually
Another Glare from Kevin, this time it was towards me,
"Changing The subject! We'll just see what happens, if I find someone. I'll probably date her. Im not sure if something will happen this soon though"
Brian's POV
I saw how hurt Stacey got hearing Howie say that he wasnt ready for a relationship just yet.
It was weird and stupid how D, still hasnt noticed that she likes him. Kev and I have known since forever! Now that Howie is officially off the market. We're gonna help Stac so she lives a happy life with D
