Stacey's POV
Out with the girls and away from Howie was where I needed to be. The conversation with Kev at the party left me wondering if I should let them set me up with Howie. But also making me want Howie more... Now the Leigh was gone, I had a chance with him. Unlike in the previous years where I had to watch the kiss at their wedding and their kids and whatever. This was something that Hopefully my girls could fix.
I walked into the building, The lights all dim but enough to see where they were.
Vanessa, Mallory and Leigh Anne *Brian's wife* were already waiting for me
"Hey Stacey!!", they yelled
"Hi..", I uttered...
Leigh Anne and Vanessa exchanged a few looks
"Stac whats up?", Mal asked after she ordered a round.
"Howie's single... Kev and Bri are trying to set me up with him.... My way is kinda clear now.. but im not sure if Howie is ready to move on. I dont even know if he likes me!!!"
"Brian's doing what??", Leigh Anne asked..
Vanessa just shook her head at her, "Stac.. How about you can... Just tell him that you have feelings for another guy. Just express your feelings towards him but dont give him a name. He'll come around himself, and you'll know if he likes you. Then you go forward from that"
"She's got a point", Mal agreed to her, I wasnt liking this idea. I wasnt liking anything as of now actually
"Hey? You want me to talk to Brian?", Leigh Anne's question sent me deep into thought.....
But I decided that its ok.. I also decided that Vanessa's idea was all I had for now...The plan was a go.
"Now that this is over... Stac why did you say that Grant was into me??", Vanessa had to ask
"Huh??", I couldnt believe she brought that up
"WHAT?!", Mal yelled..
"Dude I was messing with her!!!"
And the night raged on, us fighting over Mal's boyfriend.Great way to end the day
