Brian's POV
So I wasnt giving up on Stac and Howie. So since Stac told us to back off I took Kevin to Howie. So we could have a guy talk.
We went over to Howie's, Stacey was out with some friends, Howie's kids had a play date with their cousins.
We went into the living room and sat down.
"So guys, Whats up?", Howie asks
"We wanted to talk to ya D"
"Sure"
"Do you like Stacey?"
Howie's mind wanders off, I know whats going through his mind,I look over at Kev and he tells me to let him process everything.
Howie's POV
The thoughts of Leigh were still fresh in my mind.. Accepting the fact that now she was my ex was... something that would take time.. I was still in love with her, Although I did like Stacey... She was always my second choice. I didnt go over that fact again and again but I knew that it would have been her..
Leigh saying that she regretted basically everything we had, everything we made... She never loved me.. or The Guys.... Or our Ahem..My boys..
"Guys.. *sniffles* This *voice cracks* Is really hard for me and you all know that. Leigh never liked you guys, Me or our sons... We were nothing to her.... *cries*"
Kevin walks over and reassuringly hugs me "we didnt mean to hurt you D. And we know, it hurts... But we're here for you Howard. You know that.. If you need to, You'll find someone. Someone better who will learn to love you and your family.. We arent forcing you on anything D but we are here and always will be"
"Yeah D.. Get some sleep now, Kev and I'll pick the boys up, You relax"
"Thanks guys... For everything"
After sharing a hug with the guys they left.. I collapsed on the couch .my mind immediately went back and forth over Leigh and Stacey... Stacey was there for me always... Leigh was there too back..falsely.. that didnt count now i guess..... Stacey had a distinctly higher importance to me now... Since she helped with the court dates,documents and everything else..
I felt the need of calling someone....
"Hello?"
"Kevin? Hey I wanted to tell you that whatever you guys are up to with Stacey... Its a go from me"
"You betcha boss"
I heard the phone click and my heart felt somewhat lighter... Could it Be Love??
