He was just so kind. I have never been treated as a queen before. The affection and desire I could smell on him. It was an odd smell, like a mix of eucalyptus and roses. The smell was always inviting to me.

We've moved again, this time further south, I think we made it to Missouri. Zayd was tracking another wolf. Apparently he came across a small pack of wolves who have made their home in a small village nearby.

I was very nervous. I have never met another wolf. I mean, granted I can't be surprised that I'm not the only one, but I was still terrified.

What if they took me from him. What if they made me live with my own kind. What if they tried to kill me...

My mind raced with anticipation. I didn't know how it was going to go. But, whenever Zayd told me to do something, I always did it. No questions asked.

I was young, probably stupid, but I knew what I felt. And what I wanted. I wanted to be as close to him as possible.

Somedays I think about how my family was. The family I left when I became something else.

I missed my mother, my little sister, Taya. I wondered how they were. Were they looking for me? Did they Miss me? I guess I'll never know.

I placed the brush down, looking at my appearence in the mirror. I was 17, but with my enlarged breast, the new shine to my fiery hair, the glow to my green eyes; I looked much older, sexier. I barely recognised my own reflection. I was sure my family wouldnt recognize me.

I slipped into the Jean mini skirt, and the green halter that was placed on my bed. I was so much prettier than I used to be. All of my baby fat was gone, my belly was flat, my butt was nice and round. It was different.

I stepped out of my room, and there sat Zayd. He must have stayed up at night. He was asleep with his head on his laptop. I gave a smile, feeling my stomach flop inside. I didn't know the feeling, but I knew I didn't want to be away from him.

I sat down, and as soon as I got comfortable, my senses caught whiff of an unfamiliar scent. Instantly, I started to growl. I went into defense mode, grabbed the nearest item within reach, which happened to be a TV remote. Not very helpful, but oh well.

I could hear at least 3 people nearing the house. Their smell was foul, I wanted to gag.

Suddenly, the side window was shattered, and someone jumped through. I turned and looked at the intruder. I didn't recognize her. My fangs protruded from my regular teeth, and I bared them at her, snarling.

I felt like I wanted to change, but for some reason I was unable to. The female shifted to a solid black wolf and charged at me. I screamed as I felt her teeth piercing my arm.

I was defenseless. For some reason Zayd wasnt waking up, he didn't even seem to acknowledge the attack.

The necklace!

I suddenly remembered the necklace I wore on my neck, with a hard grasp, I yanked the silver from my skin. Then, growling, the pain pierced my skin. I doubled over, feeling my bones break and my skin was on fire. I started screaming, and as I shifted from an innocent littls girl, I stood as a tall fire red wolf.

The female wolf, growled at me, circling me. I'm return I growled back. We watched each other, watching each others steps. Then, she charged. I too charged, managing to get a firm grasp of the nape of her neck. I bit and bit until I tasted blood. With a howl, the female backed away.

Blood dripped from my side, and from my bared fangs. All I saw was red, I was furious. I felt the instinct to kill. I had lost all control of my functions, as my inner wolf took control. I could only see, but not react.

I once again attacked the black wolf, wanting to rip her apart. I heard a loud growl, from somewhere else. The black unmoving wolf laid beneath me, bleeding from several places.

Then, I felt something pierce my skin, I stumbled away from the unconscious wolf, my vision faded from red to black.

(Unknown POV)

She was tough. I was impressed. An untamed wolf who fought as though she'd known her entire life how. I sent Sarin in, to get an idea of the rogue wolf that was on our territory.

She was different. She was a turned wolf. My entire pack was born the way we are. She smelled different, her scent was beautiful.

I hadn't expected to see her tearing apart my beautiful Luna. I entered the building, and shit her, with a silver tranquilizer. Down she went.

I could smell another beast, but this one was different. I looked to where a sleeping vampire sat. Odd that he didn't know what had happened. Maybe to her, but I had sent my Beta earlier to poison his blood. Granted it wouldnt kill him, but put him out of commission for long enough.

My Beta Zoro, entered behind me. I bent over and lifted up my mangled Luna. She was now in human form, unconscious. I had to get her treated fast. I couldn't bare to lose my true love.

My male companion lifted the now unconscious female. I wanted to know how she became this warrior so soon. Maybe even find the pack that turned her.

Truthfully, I had no intention of keeping her, she was a threat to my pack. I only intended to poke and prode her until I could discover what runs in her veins.

We carried the bodies of the women, jumped into our jeep, and drove off, leaving the sleeping vampire to his nap...

(Zayd's POV)

I was groggy. I had one hell of a hang over. It was nighttime. I had somehow managed to sleep all day. Allowing my eyes to adjust to the room I was in, I saw in terror the mess. How had I not heard the intrusion! I noticed an usual calm. Where was Freya? I knocked the table over, furious. My brown eyes turned red. I only had hatred for whoever had stolen my future bride.

I had to find her.

A glimmer of silver caught my eye, and I was suddenly fear stricken. Freya's necklace was in pieces in the middle of the floor. I knew I had to find her, because without her necklace, she was the most powerful, untamed wolf in the world.

She had to be found, before the inner beast destroyed everything in its path.

She had to be found....

"Please Freya. I know you cannot hear me, but you must fight it, as long as you can... "
