Miles Away

Discoveries

   It was 3 a.m on a Sunday morning when I decided that I was bored with all of my usual internet websites. Tumblr, Facebook, Twitter, not so much YouTube, you're never bored with YouTube. Since I was so bored, I did what I would usually with my life when I was bored, and went to Google. I went onto the website from my laptop and searched; 'Social Websites' it was the only thing that I could think of. As I hit the enter button, rather hard,  whole bunch of listing came up with all the websites I've already heard of or been on. I scrolled all the way down the page, and went to the second page of Google. At the very top of the listings was a website I've never heard of. 

'JinksLinks' 

was what it had read. I clicked in the link, my laptop screen went black for a few seconds, my room becoming completely back. My screen soon lit up a whole bunch of colors, I grimaced as it nearly blinded me. 

   I signed up so fast as the colors intrigued me. I did it so fast that I didn't even realize that I was doing it. I put in my email, and put in the username that I use for everything, KiaraBeara, don't judge me, I made it up when I just nine! 

   I moved my mouse over the continue button, just hovering over it. I really need to stop just signing up for strange things, I thought to myself. I ignored myself, and clicked the button anyway. I followed the instructions that they gave me to follow, it told me you could "chat with anyone, meet new friends, and share photos!" it sounded a bit like Facebook to me. 

   I was shocked to already see a message notification pop up on my screen, I opened it only to see it was from some one named 'Collinator209', i cringed a bit at the name, it was almost as bad as mine,  I read the message;

 Wassup, you new? 

   I had no clue what to say as I never get messages from anyone, not even my two friends.

 Yeah, I just joined today :) 

was my response. 

 cool. 

was all he said, I presume its a boy because his name is Collin, but any ones name can be Collin. 

Yeah. 

I said. Why is he talking to me?

I want to be your friend. 

He said, it was like he just read my mind!!

You're pretty straight forward about it...

   He didn't respond, but i heard another ding and another notification pooped up on my screen, it was a friend request from Collinator209, I thought about it for a while, what if he's like a murderer or a crazy stalker? So I declined the request. 

HEY! :( why did you do that?  

He asked referring to what I just did. 

I don't know you, why would I be your friend?  

I replied back, a smile on my face, this pretty was fun. 

You're right, then lets talk, I need more friends anyway.  

He begged, suddenly I looked at the clock at the bottom of my screen. It was five thirty a.m! 

Sorry, can't, I'm going to sleep now...  

I, again, turned him down. I kind of felt bad that I kept doing that to him. 

Oh, did your mommy tell you it's bed time?? 

 I gasped, surprised at his outburst, and glared at the screen as if he could see me. So I just ignored his comment and before logged out of my account, I made a mental note to come back tomorrow and talk to him again.  

Be back on here tomorrow.  

I said, and before he could reply I logged out and closed my laptop. 

   I had no clue where this side of me was coming out from, usually I would've been scared of him, and just kept saying one word responses.

   I got up and put it on my desk across my room, came back to my bed, and pulled my super soft duvet over my body, rested my head on my pillow, and let sleep take over my body.

HI! So, this is my first part of my first book! I hope you liked it, it took about the whole day to come up with. I am so excited to write the rest of this book! I want to just keep writing, but it's late... I know this is like super short it'll be MUCH longer next time ;-)
