(Annabeth's P.O.V.: Only Annabeth's P.O.V.)
I woke up extra early that morning. Percy was sleeping peacefully beside me. I snuck out of bed, trying not to wake him.
I yawned and stretched, wandering into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and splashed some cold water on my face to wake me up. Gods, that felt good.
I walked back out and changed quietly. I needed to go for a walk to clear my head. This whole "Wedding-Coming-Up-You-Haven't-Decided-On-A-Date-What-Time-Will-It-Be-And-You've-Got-So-Much-To-Do" was really getting to me.
I snuck out of the cabin and walked down towards the beach.
WOOF!!!!!!! Mrs. O'Leary came bounding towards me, causing a tiny earthquake.
"Shush, girl, everyone's still-" I got cut off as Mrs. O'Leary gave me a slobber bath. With one lick. Might I mention that she's bigger than a tank and has a bark louder than an artillary gun. Scratch that. Make that 10 artillary guns.
I saw Piper sneak out of her cabin and walk towards me. Either she was watching me through a window or Mrs. O'Leary woke her up. Or both.
"Morning, Piper."
"Hey, Annabeth. Want to get some more planning done?"
I nodded. It could get some of the weight off of my shoulders.
Piper & I walked down to the dining pavilion. We sat down. 2 goblets appeared in front of us. "Strong Folger's Black Silk coffee with Coffee Mate Creamy Chocolate Creamer," I told the goblet. It appeared, steaming hot and delicious, in the goblet. I took a sip. "Ahh. Much better." Coffee always worked well for head-clearing in the morning.
"Wow. You really know what you want," Piper said to me, amazed.
I realized that I had forgotten something. "Make it Orchid Kiss. The Behr version." The coffee turned bright purple.
Piper sighed. "McCafe Frappe Chocolate Chip." Now we both had coffee.
"So," I began, taking another sip of my coffee. "What should we plan?"
"Well, we need to decide on a date."
"June," I responded immediately. "Just to annoy Hera, plus she has to bless all June weddings. And Percy and I will have time to really plan."
"Okay." Piper wrote something down on a notepad that I hadn't noticed her carrying. "Also, I want to ask you something else."
"Yes?"
"Bridal shower. Sooner or later?"
"Sooner."
"What date?"
"Um..." It was August 18. Maybe... "August 29."
"Okay. Guest list?"
"You, duh. Lacy, your friend from Aphrodite. Rachel Dare. My mom. Your mom. Hera. Artemis. Hestia. The Graces. The Muses. Harmonia. Nike. That's pretty much it." Piper was writing furiously, scribbling as fast as she could to get all the names down. "Oh, wait. Mrs. Jackson, too."
"Alright. I get to plan the rest." Piper seemed to realize something. I just couldn't figure out what.
I nodded. "It's getting close to wake up time. I'll go put on some fresh clothes and take a shower. I'll see you at breakfast."
"Alright. Ta ta!"
