"I'm going to miss you kiddo." Her father said while hugging her tight. Rin would normally be tall enough to rest her head on his shoulder but he was a lot taller than the average asian father since he just... wasn't asian. Rin smiled sadly, hugging him tighter.

"I'm going to miss you more... I'll call and text you like... all the time." She laughed. The laugh came out choked and he knew her tears were about to fall.

"Now now..." He patted her head. "You have that dance competition to worry about before you leave." He said. She nodded, wiping her tears away at the thought. She needed to focus for her students sakes. She stepped away and looked at her father. She knew this wasn't a permanent goodbye but it sure felt like it. She had one suitcase and a bookbag with her. She left the apartment with a heavy heart and an even heavier soul. Her brother didn't even show up to say goodbye but why would he? He was always stubborn like this when he disagreed with something. The same as their mother. She left the apartment and went down to the subway. She said her goodbyes to some of the friends she made and got to the dance studio. She entered the studio and saw all her students there in giant coats and such. They smiled as they saw her walk in but then they saw her suitcase.

"You're leaving!?" Some shouted. Rin kept her smile though.

"After yes. I have picked a good choreographer to take my place." Rin announced.

"Where are you going?" Another student asked.

"Why are you leaving?" Matt asked.

"For right now, I cannot tell you..." Rin said, guilty.

"What do you mean? We can still text you, right?" Matt asks again, his voice going higher.

"I'll tell you everything after the competition. You guys need to focus... make it the best performance you have ever done." Rin said, avoiding the question. Matt wanted to press the issue more since she was basically his best friend but she glared at him not to. He glared back at her, telling her that she needed to explain herself to him later at least. She nodded before turning back to the class. A school bus came to pick them up and soon they were on their way to Manhattan. The competition would be held at the Rockefeller Plaza. As she sat in the front with Matt her phone vibrated. She checked and it was a text from Ji Young.

To: Bae Soo Rin
From: Kwon Ji Young

The after party is at the studio, yes? I'll make the announcement and then bring you over to the airport. CEO can't make it but me and Youngbae will be there. Good luck.

Rin smiled at the text before texting back. Just as she was about to text him back, she got another text from her best friend.

To: Rinnie Sweg
From: Sam Vicious

I'll be in the front row cheering you on. Just saying, if Matt winks at me, I'm jumping on that stage and tapping that ass

Rin laughed out loud. She's completely aware that Sam is crushing on her dance partner and would always try to get them together but Matt is so block-headed that he doesn't get the gist.

She quickly texted her back as she saw the bus approaching the location.

To: Sam Vicious
From: Rinnie Sweg

I'll see you there and you better not. We need him for a few more dances. You can have him all to yourself after the competition... Just make sure to use protection (^_-)

Rin smiled as she could imagine her best friend's face as she would read her reply. She knew Sam wouldn't go that far in a small period of time but that didn't mean she couldn't tease her. The bus dropped them off and they stepped in to the large building behind the outer stage. Rin shivered from the cold breeze. SInce it was still technically winter, their uniforms weren't too skin revealing. Rin met with a producer who gave her the dressing room number. They were in dressing room 5, another lucky number she hoped. As they walked through the long hallway filled with stage crew who were frantically running around to make sure everything was set up correctly, Rin took the time to observe the competition as did her students.

They passed by these kids that wore red and white. The boys were in sweats while the girls in shorts. Rin cringed at the thought of going outside in such revealing clothes at the temperature today. This was the "Prophecy". She didn't see Michael with them but wasn't exactly friends with him. Some of the students glared at them and one even roared at them... Weird...

They also ended up passing Associates, Sorority, and Flyographers. Only the top five dance crews in all of NYC including theirs. They saw their dressing room door with the title "Royal Family". They entered and began getting ready. Even though the boys and girls had to share the dressing room, not many were shy of stripping in front of each other. THe girls would obviously tell the boys not to look in which Rin made sure they didn't and the girls didn't peak when the boys changed. The boys wore adidas tracksuit that held the colors of black and yellow, the zippers only unzipped on their chest area to show off their dogtags with the logo of the dance studio and their names in the back. He girls wore the same thing only instead of having both legs of the tracksuit down, they rolled the right pant sleeve up above the knees. They tied their adidas jackets around their waste letting their yellow tank tops being exposed. The girls wore the same dogtags and all wore golden hoop earrings. All the guys wore piercings too but unlike the other dance crews there, their piercings were real. They all wore black caps with the studio's name on it. It was after everyone was dressed that a knock appeared at the door. Matt answered it and was relieved to see Sam.

"Makeup artist is here!" She yelled excitedly. Matt let her in after a short and awkward greeting in which Sam loved about him. She took dancers from oldest to youngest and began the make up transformation. The boys didn't really want any make up but she forced them too since it fit their concept. She just put some dark eyeshadow around their eyes to bring more definition to their eyes. For the girls, she used silver eyeshadow and extremely black eyeliner. She gave all the girls thick cat eye and darkened their eyebrows with pencil. She contoured their face of course and laid some black lip liner with dark red lipstick. Rin was worried that this would be too much for her best friend to handle and/or run out of makeup but luckily she finished with some left over.

"Thank you so so much for doing this." Rin thanked her as the kids began stretching and warming up. Samantha smiled.

"You can pay me back by winning and maybe setting me up to a hot date after you become famous. I like rappers." She joked. Rin let her go to the audience while she checked back to her students. She did role call and was glad everyone was here. Matt called to get everyone's attention so Rin can give some encouraging words.

"Alright guys, it's time for the moment of truth. Throughout all the pain we endured this season, we are more than ready to win this. If you get tired on that stage and think of giving up, think of all the pain and sacrifice you went through to get here; all those late nights of studying and homework just so you could stay in the dance crew, all the practice we put in through the mistakes, the blood, sweat and tears we felt in the dance room... Remember it all because everything we have done is for this moment. Confidence is key. The audience sees all so as soon as you begin to doubt yourself, the crowd will notice and call you out. Make sure to work with the stage. The stage shows honesty above all else so make sure to honestly have fun." She smiled as she saw all their glinting eyes. They were definitely pumped.

"Now let's win this!!!" Matt shouted causing all the students to cheer.
