2.3 - Valentines Day Dance

"You have no plans!?" TOP asked, shocked at the answer GD gave him. It was that time of the year again... Valentines Day... Big Bang would usually spend the day with each other minus Taeyang since he had a girlfriend but ever since they went public, he spends most of his free time with her. Ji Young would plan a big event for the boys and bring Kiko but they had a bad break up last year so here he was, lost. GD's been working on this song for their album but he is having such a hard time thinking about more lyrics. In truth, this song started with his feelings for Rin. The confusion he felt with her and he hasn't seen her for the past two weeks due to his busy schedule and her training. He remembers the day he brought her to TOP's premiere movie. Even though he kept his hand on top of hers, she only shied away at first. All the girls he's ever taken out, they wouldn't even flinch at the contact and usually would end up taking it a few steps further. GD didn't really do "the nasty" with every date, just with the ones he felt serious with but... Rin was the youngest girl he's ever taken out.

"Why don't you take Rin out?" Taeyang asked. GD turned his head over to him in shock

"Are you crazy!? Why would I take her out!?" GD asked, shocked at the suggestion.

"Don't act innocent. I saw you and her holding hands at my movie premiere." TOP smirked at him. GD just rolls his eyes.

"That was then. I haven't texted her for two straight weeks... I think asking her out on a date would be too much..." GD answered, looking down at his phone filled with regret. He wanted to text her but was too busy and tired... He also didn't know her schedule so if she was sleeping, he didn't want to bother her.

"Then talk to her. I'm sure she'll understand." TOP pressed on. They then heard a ding from a cellphone, Taeyang's cellphone to be exact. He answered it.

"Jagiya... Yeah... Now? Yeah, I'll be there in about half an hour... yep... Ok... I love you..." Taeyang said on the phone.

"Eun Ran?" TOP asked, truly envious. Taeyang beamed.

"Who else?" He got up and bounded to the door. "See you guys tomorrow and good luck with that single life." He teased before closing the door. TOP rolled his eyes while GD laughed at his friend. When he left is when TOP leaned in and put his arm around GD as if he was telling him a secret.

"Seriously though... You shouldn't ignore your feelings..."

"Ugh..." Rin whimpered as they were walking to their location. Jin and Yedam were up front while Jaewon stayed behind with her, making sure she didn't wander off and get lost again.

"What are you 'ugh'-ing about now?" Jaewon asked with an amused smile. She was definitely getting more comfortable with him because she would never do this last week. They were all wearing Adidas sweat pants with matching Adidas shirts but they had large coats over them since it was cold. Since it was Valentines Day, they all wore pink gloves with the fingers cut. They would even use them while  dancing to protect their hands from the gravelly street and the cold. Rin looked at all the couples walking by. No one really noticed them but that made sense since they were all still trainees. Earlier that morning, Rin was so set on putting a pink bow on Yedam but thanks to Jin and Jaewon, he was able to escape without getting a bow.

"All these couples everywhere..." Rin muttered. She had nothing against relationships but after her first, she always hated this holiday... Jaewon sensed some sort of sadness on her and put his arm around her. He tried to do it as he does to Yedam but he found himself to be more gentle and his heart beat faster. He covered his flustered heart with words.

"Who needs relationships anyway... So overrated." Jaewon said. Rin nodded, not minding how close he was to her. She was used to boys being close to her so she didn't get flustered as most girls would. They entered the space that they would be using and began to set up. A few people stopped to see what was going on but as soon as Yedam set up the poster that said "YG Trainee Valentines Special", more people stopped and surrounded them. Jaewon asked them to move a bit farther back so they could have more room to dance and they did. Rin took out the bullhorn they would be using and began speaking from it.
