ch 5 the forest of death,the second exam, and 'him'

I walked along with my team. I looked up at the forest of death. I wasn't scared. Oh no. I smirked when I heard Anko start talking about how to go though the forest and how we had to sign a life waver.

I signed mine and was given a scroll. It had the kanji of heaven on it.

"now one of your team mates has been given a scroll with either earth or heaven on to it. You need both of these scroll to enter the building in the middle of the forest. If you open it before, well let's just say, you fail." she said with a evil grin. Naruto was making fun of her.

She glare him and threw a kunai at him. Naruto stopped and felt the mark on his cheek. I sighed as I watched Anko talk to him and lick up the blood. Anko turned around to attack, but it was a grass ninja with his/her tongue holding the kunai. I glared at that person because that was orochimaru. Anko said thanks and turned back to naruto. The man turned and saw me. He smirked at me as he licked his lips. I growled as I reached for my sword, but I knew better because of the other people here.

I turned around to head to the gate. I could hear his chuckle. I shook my head. I stood on the gate and ready for the word to go.

Anko smirked as she stood on the table and yelled.

"ok, get ready, get set, and don't die!" she yelled as the gates opened

My team and I ran. We ran for about two hours.

"what I heard form Anko we have four days to get to the tower." Sakura said.

We all nodded as we stopped.

"guys, we need a phrase so if anyone tried to sneak up on us, and don't get the scroll." sasuke said. We nodded.

"I've got one. 'when does the ninja strike?' the answer is 'at night in the dark of the night so they must not see us'." I told them. Sasuke and Sakura nodded as narutos face darkened.

"can we have a different one?" he asked. I shook my head. "no, we stick to this one." sasuke said.

Naruto then started to dance. "oh man, I've got to pee." I frowned as Sakura smacked his head.

"not in front us girls you moron." she yelled at him, as naruto walked back into the bushes.

He came back and smiled. "man, I wrote my whole name." sakura groaned as I toke my sword out and sasuke threw a kunai at him.

Naruto jumped back. "what the helll guys? Sakura stay away they gone nuts."he said.

I rolled my eyes.

"oh you didn't foul us. I could tell that you where a fake by no cut and naruto has his knife pouch on his right leg." I said. Sasuke nodded as he attack. The 'naruto' jumped back and changed into a rain ninja.

"he's alone guys." I said. The ninja looked at me. " how did." he was cut off by sasuke kicking him.

After some time the rain ninja ran away. I smirked as he ran.

"Candace, how did you know he was alone?" Sakura asked me. I shrugged my shoulders. I wouldnt tell them home I know everything that is going to happen.

A huge gust of wind blew us to the ground. I was hit by rocks on my back. I slowly stood up. I put my hand on my head as I looked at the damage. I saw Sakura helping Sasuke up. I looked to see if naruto was any where near us. I knew that rain ninja tied him up but where?

Well, well looks like three lost little genin." I looked up into the trees. I glared as I got ready. He jumped down and toke the hat he had on.

"your that grass ninja that helped Anko with the kunai." said Sakura. I stood in front of sasuke and Sakura.

"Sakura I want you to take saskue and get out of here!" I yelled as I pulled my sword out.

"oh, little Candace is going to fight me?" I growled at him.

"no, I'm going to kill you!" I yelled as I ran at him with my sword.

He backed away every time I tried to hit him. He just had that damn smirk on his face.

"come and fight me like a man, orochimaru!" I yelled at him as I threw paper bombs at him, that exploded on him. He held his arm with a smirk.

"your very good Candace."

Over next to a log, Saskue and Sakura where watching me. "orochimaru? Isn't that a sannin?" Sakura asked as sasuke shrugged his shoulders. Sasuke got up.

"I'm going to help her." saskue said. Sakuras face had a scared look on it. "but Candace said to run." sasuke didn't listen as he ran after me and orochimaru.

I held my side as I he had gotten me with a kunai. It was a deep cut. "look who came to join us part." I looked over my shoulder to see sasuke coming. I frowned. "I told you to run, with Sakura. You fool!" I yelled at him as he jumped over and started to attack orochimaru.

I watched him and orochimaru do teijutsu. I shook my head as I jumped from branch to branch as I knew orochimaru was going to give him the mark. Sasuke had just did the fire dragon jutsu. "sasuke get out of there!" I yelled as he looked at me, orochimaru made hand signs and his neck exended out to word us. I ran as fast as I could and pushed sasuke out of the way, only to get bit on my shoulder. I fell to the floor on the branch, holding my shoulder.

The pain was so powerful. I heard foot steps. I looked up to see his snake like eyes.

"my, my you are a true friend, Candace. I will get sasuke as my own. But I'm glad that you have the mark now, cause you will come for power. But till then, bye bye." he said as he kicked me into my stomach and I fell off the branch.

"CANDACE!" I heard three people yell. I felt someone caught me. I saw yellow and orange. "naruto?" I asked. He nodded as he laid me down next to sakura. I soon fainted as Sakura asked me if I was ok.
