Ch 12 a lazy day

i yawned as I put my hands in my pockets. I still had 2 months before the finals. I looked to the sky. " so it's me, naruto, neji, Shino, Saskue, gaara, kankuro, temari, and shikamaru." I said to myself. Dosu had died thanks to gaara. I sighed as I saw a hawk fly over the sky. I knew it ment a meeting with the hokage.

I saw Ichiraku ramen. I could see a orange jacket and I sighed as it was naruto, next to him was jirayia. I chuckled as he was a great teacher for naruto. I walked to the K.I.B stone. I saw Kakashi standing there. I made a sad smile as I went over to him. "I bet he would be proud of you, Kakashi-sensei." he turned around and saw me. "oh, candace. You know who I'm here for, huh?" he asked me. I nodded as I walked over to the stone. I put my had on his name. Obito uchiha. "he was a great person, candace." I looked up Kakashi and smiled. "I know, he gave you his eye after all." he nodded and made a smile. I left Kakashi after that and went to explore konoha.

I walked past all different kind of houses. I saw shikamaru and asuma playing shoji. I smiled as I walked by. I walked by the training field to see Kiba and hinata training Shino. I smiled at the team. Hinata got hit and fell, but she got back up and kept going with them. My talk must have sunk in, I was glad.

I yawned as today was a lazy day. I walked to my apartment and went inside. Was just a normal apartment with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and a bed room. I sat down and fell of the couch as my curse mark starting to hurt. Yes, I knew it was sealed up, but it can still hurt like hell. 'what is he planing, oh wait I already know.' I thought as the pain stopped. I knew that he could manipulate me with the curse Mark, that's why I never use it.

I sighed as I went to take a bath. As I started the water, the door bell rang. I went to answer it and saw ino, and sakura. "candace! We were wondering if you wanted to come to a sleep over tomorrow?" ino asked me. "it will be at my house." Sakura said. I nodded and smiled. "sure, who else is going." I asked. "every team and that sand team, they promised they won't hurt anyone." I nodded. "ok, I'll see you then." they smiled and left. I sighed as I went to the bath room and toke a bath. I placed my hands over my eyes. The finals, was going to be hard. I felt something on my finger. I looked at my hand and saw a ring. I tilted my head. The ring had a opal stone on it. "where did this come from?" I tried to take it off, but wouldn't come off. "oh boy. Who gave me this?" I closed my eyes and rested.

No ones pov.

It was a week ago candace came back to the village after she trained with tsunade. She went to a sushi bar to eat. She didn't know that some one was following her. As she ate, sand formed around her finger and made a ring, a opal ring. Candace never noticed it. The rest of the sand went back to it's owner, gaara. Gaara didn't know why, but had a strange feeling in his stomach every time he looked at her. It was the first when she told him that he wasn't a monster.

Candace's pov

I yawned as I got out and changed into some new clothes for bed. I climbed in bed and looked out the window to see a night sky with millions of stars. "good night mom." she said as she fell asleep.
