Chapter sixteen ~ Trip to Amazon part one~

The next morning, everyone woke up early, had breakfast, took their bags and started waiting for the bus. During the waiting, they were all talking to each other. Angelie was there too to say goodbye to her daughter, to her son in law and their friends, after a few minutes Hannah went there too. "Hey mama-Angelie, could you take care of my sister while I'm not here?" Sulfus asked Angelie. "Of course I will!" she answered smiling and hugging Hannah with one hand and she did the same to Angelie. "But you will protect my daughter too, alright? You will protect each other, promise?" Raf and Sulfus looked at each other's eyes for a moment, smiled and answered Angelie before hug her "Of course we will do!" "Nice!" the blonde woman said and hugged them too. After they pulled out from the hug "Hannah promise me that you'll be very careful, OK?" Sulfus said to his sister. "Of course I will, don't worry for me, Take care of yourshelf and Raf. Mom was very worried for this trip." "Don't worry sis, goodbye!" "Goodbye big bro!" and hugged. Then Hannah pulled out from the hug and hugged Raf "Goodbye big sis! I hope u'll be fine." "I hope this for all of us Hannah, goodbye!" the angel said to her smiling. Then Angelie advised them to go near their friends to wait all together for the bus. When they went there, Wendy and Marissa approached their cousin. "Raf, Erasmus phoned me and told me that he'll come to help us. We'll meet him to the Amazon." Wendy said ro her. "Really? Such a nice new! We'll see our friend again! What about Miele? Will she come with him?" Raf asked and her little cousin answered back "No she won't come because Erasmus didn't allow her. You know how much he loves her and he is afraid of her life." "I know.." "Who is Erasmus?" Sulfus asked his angel. "He is our childhood friend. He is like a brother to us. He knows so many things that his help will be very precious." "I feel more sure if Erasmus is with us.." Marissa started talking but she was cut from someone who fell on her by mistake. "HEY! WATCH OUT WHERE ARE YOU GOING!" Marissa yelled at him and her sister and cousin helped her to wake up. "Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't want this, it was a mistake from me" Gabe said and Marissa was about to yell at him again when Raf closed her mouth and talked to him " Hello Gabe! Nice to see you again!" "Raf! How are you? I'm so glad to meet you again. I learned about you and Sulfus too, Congratulations guys!" Gabe answered and before Raf say nothing Sulfus answered for her "Thanks Gabe! Where's Misha? I learned that you became best friends, right?" "Yes! We are very good friends. Well.. Yes she went to check the bus, she knows the bus driver and she will come with him." Then Sulfus whispered to Raf "Well you understood now, she went to flirt with the driver or something more.." "Sulfus!" she cut her boyfriend and continued to Gabe "I hope you forgave my cousin Marissa Gabe for her rude behavior.." "Of course I did..!" "Thank God, and she is Wendy, Marissa's little sister." "Hi Wendy! Nice to meet you" Gabe said to her and Wendy answered smiling "Me too Gabe!" "OK enough talking, let's go to talk with the others!" Marissa grabbed her sister's hand and they went together to talk with Kabale and Cabiria while the angels were talking with Gabe.
After a few minutes the bus arrived and everyone went in, sat down and said "Goodbye" to Angelie, Hannah and the professors from the windows. Then, the bus started flying for Amazon.
After a few hours, finally they arrived to their destination all went outside the bus. "Why don't we turn into our eternal form now? We'll find the temple easier flying instead of walking." Kabale suggested. "Kabale is right, we don't want to stain our clothes." Sweet added. "No, we have to follow the orders that professors gave us. We will turn into the eternal form only if we are in danger, but let's hope it won't be needed." Gabe said. "Come on guys, let's start walking." Misha said "Where should we go David?" and mentioning seductively David's name. "We will cross the path and when we finish it we will get the way inside the forest." he said. "What about you girls?" Urie asked Marissa and Wendy. "Nature says that the path David suggests is the correct. Let's go." Wendy said before Marissa add "C'mon, follow us." They were walking for an hour, Kabale, Cabiria, Urie, Sweet, Miki and Gas were gossiping Misha who was looking hershelf at the mirror every second and she was talking with Gabe. She was telling him that she wanted to flirt with David who was talking with Wendy about the forest and the way which they will choose. Finally, when Misha decided to make her move to David left Gabe alone, who decided to ask something Raf who was with Sulfus behind him and they were holding each other's hand.
"Raf, may I ask you something?"
"Yes of course."
"Why Marissa doesn't talk with anyone? She did the same at the bus. What's happening to her?" the handsome angel asked the blonde one who noticed her cousin walking beside her sister without talking, but looking the nature.
"It's a big and a really painful story Gabe."
"What happened?" Sulfus asked his beloved as curious as Gabe was.
"Marissa and Wendy had a brother, Narcissus. He was Marissa's twin and biggest love. We all loved him very much, he was my favourite cousin and I was his too. But one day, before seven years we had a ball in my aunt's palace. But a strange army attacked us, me and the other children started running. I fell to the ground, Narcissus turned to see me, he helped me, we had our hands held and before we start run again a column fell between us hitting Narcissus and leaving him unconsious." Raf said sadly.
"Oh Gosh!" Gabe said shocked.
"That's horrible! What happened next?" Sulfus asked.
"In the magical dimension, there's a planet which was like a hospital. It was necessary for Narcissus to stay there until he recover completely. He stayed there for one month, the day when he would return the same army who had attacked the palace attacked hospital planet. We learned that everyone died but we didn't manage to find my cousin because he disappeared strangely. Since the day we learmed about his disappearence, me, Wendy, Marissa, Miele, Cornelia and Erasmus sweared that we would never stop searching for him until we find him. We don't know if he is alive or dead, but we always hope. That's why she is so lonely and sometimes snob and rude, she feels like she doesn't have her other half.. At real she is very good and kind." Raf explained.
While Raf was telling the story of her cousin, David was listening to her and not Misha who was talking to him at the same time. While they were walking, Blue was flying above them and suddenly saw them. "What are they doing here? How did they find the secret path? I have to delay them.."
"I think that's the end of the path, right David?" Wendy asked. "Yes and now we must go from this way." he answered her. "Are you sure about this? This way is inside the forest, full of mud and insects!" Sweet asked frightened. "Come on Sweet, everything will be OK, don't worry." Raf tried to calm her friend. "Everything except from this!!!" Miki told and everyone turned to see what she meaned. Suddenly they saw a hideous beast looking at them frightening, also after a few seconds looked at Raf.
"Why does it looking at me like that?" Raf asked.
"I know this beast, its victim is targeted by it in order to be eaten." David explained.
"WHAT?" Raf shouted shocked.
"Oh my Gosh, my beautiful friend!" Sweet cried scaried.
"I will never let to a such a hideous beast to eat my angel!" Sulfus said decidedly.
"Don't worry guys I have a nice plan." Wendy said.
"Really? What plan?" Marissa and Urie asked.
"It's simple, just RUN!!!!!!" Wendy shouted and everyone followed her plan, the beast started chasing them. After ten minutes of running David talked "We cannot run forever! I know how to stop it. We will leave run alone, we will go behind the trees and you'll activate ur metamorphosis. Then we will fly above them, to take Raf and hit the beast."
"No way! I will never leave Raf alone with a beast!" Sulfus shouted.
"Don't worry Sulfus I will be fine, do whatever David says!" Raf said to him.
Then guys went right and left the path, turned into their eternal form and started flying to save Raf. Because David hadn't wings Misha and David caught him from his shoulders and stared flying. The problem was that the beast was running very fast, causing Raf run faster and her friends trying to obviate her. As a result they were metres away from her.
I have to continue running, in other case I'll be eaten by this beast. But I don't know if I can stand anymore. Come on Raf you can do this, your friends won't leave this beast to eat you or do something bad to you! Raf thought and continued running. Suddenly, she stumbled and fell to the ground. She sat there closing her eyes while the beast was approaching her. The end came Raf she thought, but then she heared a sound of a sword and the beast crying while it was disappearing.
"Raf" she heared a male familiar voice "It's gone, you can open your eyes now."
The angel opened her eyes and saw a teenage boy a little older than her with grey-blue eyes and blonde gold hair in a really short ponytail.
"Erasmus? Oh Thank God you came Erasmus!" Raf almost cried when she saw her friend and hugged him tightly.
"Everything is okay now Raf, don't cry.." Erasmus tried to calm her and caressed her hair.
"I thought I would die.. If you had been late for a minute, I would have died now.." Raf told to him pulling out from the hug and wiping her tears.
"Yes, but I'm here now and you don't need to cry anymore.." Erasmus told to her again and he saw her friends flying to her "Look! Your friend came!". Then Raf started running to them, everyone was about to hug her, but Sulfus ran faster and hugged him first.
" My love.. Luckily u're OK now..! I was so scared about u!!" he told to her and hugged her shaking body.
"You should have seen my fear! I thought I would never see you again!" Raf said almost started crying again.
"My angel.. My beloved angel..!" he whispered to her and kissed her head.
"Come on Sulfus, we want to hug her too!" Kabale complained.
"Yes, you weren't the only who was scared about her life..!" Urie said him complaining too.
Then the couple pulled out from the hug and the girls went and hugged her.
"Blondie, are u OK now??" Kabale asked her
"Yes Kabale, I'm fine.."
"Really? You are a little pale..!" Cabiria said and Urie added "Cabiria is right, you're shaking Raf!!"
"It's OK girls, don't worry."
"I thought you have died for a moment.. I was so scared about you!!!" Sweet said and was about to cry.
"Sweet stop!! You'll scare her more!!" Miki told to her.
Wendy and Marissa approached their cousin and hugged her tightly. "Raf.. Luckily u're okay now.." "We tried to fly faster but.. We couldn't.. The beast was faster than us.." they said to her.
"Thank God Erasmus saved me!"
Erasmus?? Oh Gosh! Erasmus is here... David thought. The two fairies when saw their childhood friend ran to his hug. "Erasmus!" both of them shouted gladly. "My girls!!!" he said gladly too.
"Raf.." David started talking "Sorry for what happened, but it was the only plan I could think. If something bad had happened to you, I would never forgive myshelf.."
"Don't feel sorry David, it's ok.." the angel started talking but she was cut by Sulfus.
"No Raf! He has to feel sorry, he put ur life in danger! You could have died if he hadn't thought this stupid plan!!" the raven-haired devil said angrily.
"Sulfus I didn't want to.."
"Enough! Raf is fine now and there's no reason to talk about it anymore! We have to concertrate to our mission now. David, I suggest to go to the temple flying, because we lost so much time and it's better to win it again. What about you?" Erasmus said him.
"Yes I agree." he answered.
"OK then. Sulfus could you carry Raf while we're flying? She is even upset and she needs rest, so it's better not to turn into her angelic form and fly now." he asked him.
"Anything for her" Sulfus answered and Raf smiled at his answer.
"Let's go then." Erasmus said and looked at Raf who told to him "thank you" without talking, he understood and sobbed his head smiling.
