Chapter 9

"LAND!" I yelled as Percy parked by the hotel. "FLIPPIN' LAND!"

"Is she going on a no-curse diet?" Annabeth asked Nico as we all walked up to the lobby. Everyone laughed at me as I just rolled my eyes and hopped up to the receptionist.

"Good evening!" she said politely.

"Uhh, Crista?" Nico asked as he walked up to me. "I don't think this is-"

"Oh my! It's you two!" said miss receptionist. "Oh how lovely! You're still together!"

"What the what now?" I said, raising a brow.

"Crista," said Nico. "This place is-"

"OH GOOOOOD YEEEEEES!!!"

I let out a shriek as I jumped into Percy's arms who looked as terrified as me.

"Oh, do you now remember?" the lady asked.

"I think she does now," Nico said, letting out a sigh.

"Uhh, HECK YEAH I REMEMBER THIS PLACE!" I yelled as I got down from Percy's arms. "THIS PLACE MOTHER FLUBBIN' TRAUMATIZED ME!"

"Uhh, what exactly is this place?" Hazel asked.

"It's a love hotel," Nico said, slapping his palm to his forehead.

"WAIT, YOU'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE?" Everyone yelled as they looked at me and Nico. Oh god.

"Well, yeah," I answered and everyone's jaws dropped to the floor.

"It's not what you think," Nico said then he let out a sigh.

"Indeed!" said the reception lady. "The two of them came here not so long ago, looking for a place to stay the night! They only found out that it was a love hotel once I was about to show them to their rooms! Oh the look on their faces! You know, I really thought they were together and was curious why they would come here at such a young age until I found out they had no idea what this place was!"

"SO YOU ACTUALLY STAYED HERE?!" Leo yelled.

"They did!" lady recep answered.

"OH MY GODS!" they all yelled.

"Oh my, it really isn't what you think! They asked me to take them to a normal room so I did!"

"Oooh," they answered.

"Well, didn't that escalate quickly?" I asked, rolling my eyes.

"Anyways, we've added some more normal rooms for those who are just looking for a place to stay on the sixth floor, how many rooms would you like?"

Nico and I got a room for ourselves. Percy, Jason, Leo and Frank got a separate room and so did the other girls.

"Stay saaafe!" Leo teased before Nico and I walked into our room.

"This. Is. Weird," I told Nico as I plopped onto the bed. Nico laughed as he set down our bags.

"At least it's a couple of floors away from... those.. rooms..."

"GAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" I laughed my ass off as he said that sentence. He just rolled his eyes at me and threw me my clothes.

"Just go take a bath, dork," he said before sticking out his tongue. I stuck mine out as well before heading into the bathroom to take a shower. Same damn ritual. Shampoo, soap, rinse, re-rinse, mini-concert, tooth brush, and dry.

I dried my body up with a towel and was about to get dressed until...

"OKAY NICO CLOSE YOUR EYES!" I yelled out to the bedroom.

"Uhh, why?" he asked as I peeked my head through the door.

"I have nothing but a towel on," I said. He raised a brow. "I need underwear, dude."

He just stood there in silence.

"Uhh, panty and a bra? Essential pieces of clothing to a female individual?"

"Uhh, right..." he muttered. I laughed, rolled my eyes, and walked out of the bathroom anyways. I headed over to my bag, got what I needed, and walked back into the bathroom to get dressed.

"All yours," I said, walking out of the room in a sweater and shorts. Nico went ahead and took his bath while I laid myself down on the bed to go through the tv channels. Thank Athena they had cable with non-SPG channels.

"Disney? Seriously?" Nico asked as he walked out of the bathroom.... in nothing but flippin' shorts. Guy shorts, of course. He sat beside me and I laid my head down on his lap.

"Don't mock me, Pocahontas is life," I said and he let out a small laugh before playing with my hair.

We just enjoyed the movie and enjoyed the moment. Once the movie was over, Gravity Falls was up so we continued to watch. This time, Nico was on his back and I was snuggled up to his chest.

"THIS IS THE POLICE! LET US IN!" I heard Leo yelled through the door. I got off the bed to open the door while Nico hid his shirtless body under the duvet.

"Whaddya want?" I asked them.

"Our rooms ain't got no television," said Leo in a Mexican accent, "and Gravity Falls is up. Help some muchachos out, ye?"

I rolled my eyes and let them in.

"I'M COMING, DIPPER!!!" Percy yelled as they ran into the room.

"THAT'S THE SPIRIT!" someone from down the hall yelled.

Oh God, have mercy on my tortured soul.
