"What do you mean they're gone?" I push past Mason and Scott and look at the two girls.
"The Dread Doctors must of took them." Scott lets out a worried breath of air and I shake my head.
"What? No! Have you even looked around?" I shout.
"Lacey-" Scott try's reaching for me, but I slip away from him and start running around the locker room. Looking in every corner, or anywhere someone could hide.
This can't be happening.
"Liam! Liam!" I call out his name trying to find him.
"Lacey, stop!" I hear Mason yell.
"No! He has to be around here somewhere! We- we have to check the school! We have to call the police and get a search party looking for him. We have to!" I run back to everyone and they're all silent. Looking defeated.
"We can't just stand here!" I turn around and my eyes scan the room rapidly, not believing the reality of the situation. Liam is gone, and it's all my fault.
"I shouldn't have left." I whisper, tears pouring down my face.
"Lacey, this isn't your fault." I hear Scott walking behind me and I spin around, griping his arms with my hands.
"We have to find him. We need to find him Scott."
"Lacey." He grunts and looks down at his arms. My claws are digging into his skin and blood is dripping down from them, to the floor. I snatch my hands away and tuck them under my arms. This is not the time to loose control.
"What are we going to do?" Mason speaks up, breaking the silence.
"Malia, Lacey, you two come with me. Everyone else get to my house as soon as you can." Scott runs out of the room and I follow close behind, trying my best to keep it together. We run right into the forest and split up. We're looking for any clues or signs that Liam and Hayden were here, but so far there's nothing. Just then, I hear a loud howl.
I follow the sound and find Scott sitting on the ground looking out onto the town. Malia walks over and we give each other a worried look before turning back to Scott. "There's no scent, no tracks, no way to find him." Scott sighs. My heart sinks down into my chest and I begin to panic.
"But Liam can howl back right?" Malia asks.
"Only if he heard me." Scott replies.
"Why wouldn't he be able to hear you? Do you think they took him out of Beacon Hills? How far could they have gotten? They haven't even been gone for an hour!" I ramble.
"Lacey I don't know!" Scott shouts. I put my hand on my forehead and pace back and forth. "I'll figure it out. Okay, I'll- I'll figure something out." I've never seen Scott this flustered before. It's almost like he's completely clueless and it's not very encouraging.
A cell phone goes off and Scott reaches into his pocket to pick it up. "Scott, Kira's been arrested." I recognize it as Stiles' voice and I sigh out in disappointment. A part of me hoped that maybe it was Liam somehow calling Scott from wherever he is. I guess now that I think about it that thought was pretty unrealistic.
"Wait, what? Why?" Scott shakes his head. "Uh, don't answer that. I'll see what's going on, you and Theo need to get to my house okay?"
"Got it." Stiles answers, then hangs up.
"I have to go to the police station." Scott says. "So, when you get to my house be sure to fill in Stiles and Theo. Also text Mason and tell him and Lydia to bring Cory with them. If he's a chimera too, we're going to have to make sure he's safe."
