Chapter 16

29th April 2041 River and Buzz's wedding

"Dad. will you do my hair?" River said we were at the hotel where the wedding was

"Yeah Come on sweet." Dougie said and they vanished up stairs

"Cassidy you got your dress baby." I said smiling

"Yeah it's in Auntie Rivers room." Cassidy said

"Great well I'm heading up now so come on. Ashton will you hold Oscar I need to take Savannah to get ready." I said handing a very sleepy and grumpy Oscar to Ashton who within 5 minutes of being in Ashton arms had fallen asleep something I had been trying to do for about half an hour. Savannah was fine and had slept but Oscar was being a little grump. "

How do you do that?" I said glaring at ash

"Magic. He loves his uncle Ashton." Ash said smiling smug way. And he went and sat down with Oscar

I got Savannah into her bridesmaid's dress which was a beautiful shade of purple she looked so cute. I went to find Buzz, Seb, and Buzz's best friend Alex. Alex and Seb were the best men. They all looked so handsome, Tom's brother-in-law Mario had made the suits for Buzz, Seb and Alex.

"Aww look at you." I said smiling

"Thanks Rhi." Buzz said smiling

I had Savannah in my arms. I was a very proud mother of the bride River looked amazing. So did the 4 bridesmaids, Cassidy, Savannah and Georgia's little girl Rosie now about to turn 4 and Ellie who had just turned 6 Ellie was my niece and Rivers cousin.

At 1 everyone was ready all the guests were sat down and Buzz, Seb and Alex were waiting at the top of aisle. I was sat down the space to my left was for Dougie after he had walked River down the aisle. Tom and Gi were on my other side. Oscar was still asleep we didn't want to wake him it wouldn't be fair on him so Ash was sat behind us with the other 5sos boys and Jodie, Charlotte, Jake, Ollie and Peeta. My mum Edward, Joseph plus Sophie and James were sat on the third row back with my grandma and granddad and so were Georgia and Ben. Buzz's family were the other side. They didn't want a lot of people there so it was only close family the exception being Georgia, Ben and Rosie who were close family friends.

Cassidy and Savannah came down first then Rosie and Ellie next then followed by River and Dougie. River looked amazing in a white dress Dougie in a jet black suit with a purple flower in the button hole of his suit also much to his disgust he had a bow tie as well.

Walking down towards Buzz it was a picture of perfection.

Dougie kissed River on the cheek and came and sat down. The minister said

"everybody ready. Then the minister said "Buzz repeat after me."

"I Buzz take you River" the minister said

"I Buzz take you River ." Buzz said still holding Rivers hands

"To be my wife in sickness and in health"

"To be my wife in sick ness and in Heath" Buzz repeated

"Till death do us part"

"Till death do us part" Buzz repeated

"Now River repeat after me, I River take you Buzz."

"I River take you Buzz. " River said looking at Buzz

"To be my husband in sickness and in health"

"To be my husband in sick ness and in Heath" River repeated

"Till death do us part"

"Till death do us part" River repeated

"By power vested in me by God and everything else I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may now kiss" the minister said smiling they kissed and every stood up and clapped. They walked down the aisle hand in and hand. Me and Gi had tears running down our faces Tom handed me a tissue.

The party got under way about 5. We sat down and had something to eat.

Then it was time for the speeches. Buzz and River went first.

"I just want to say thanks to everyone for coming it has made today the best day of my life. But I want to say an extra special thank you to Rhianne and Dougie. For letting me marry River nothing makes me happier than River does. 5 years we have been together but we have been friends for 21 years. The first time I got to hold River I knew we would have something everyone say they marry their best friend and I certainly did that. River is my best friend from the get go. I know same have said its weird but I don't care. Rivers Cassidy fletcher my best friend and my wife I love you to the moon and back. You brighten my day. Rhianne if we ever have children I know River is going to be an amazing mother thanks to you." Buzz finished his speech then it was Rivers turn.

Next it the Dougie's turn he had been working so hard on this speech and had shouted at me every time I had interrupted him when he had been working on it.

Once all the speeches were done and the food and tables had been cleared away it was time for River and Buzz's first dance. It was beautiful and it was to all about you by the Mcfly boys. Then it was time for River and Dougie to dance and that was to a new song called look at my little girl. To watch them dance around the dance floor made me feel like I had done my job as a mum and had set River off on her own path to becoming a mum she always wanted children always and she was going to make an amazing mum one day.
