It had been four days since the timelock broke. Even though everything was as normal, everyone felt like they were forgetting something. Guude called a meeting. Everyone sat in town hall, unusually silent. The mindcrackers were all grieving for something they didn't know. Finally, Vechs spoke up. "I'm not keeping any secrets anymore." Silence. "I'm a time keeper. At least I used to be one. I've done quite a bad job of it." More silence. No one questioned Vechs. "I've lived for thousands of years. These goggles let me see everything I could ever want to know about any of you." Vechs took his googles off. "I regret not doing this sooner." He then smashed both lenses and threw the broken goggles into the middle of the circle they sat in. "We all have powers you know, that's why we ended up here."
"Vechs." Aurey, who was sitting next to him put her hand on his shoulder. Hearing his own name bore down into Vechs's head.
"Yup. Vechs Davion. That's me."

Old legends told of great heroes who would destroy the three great evils of the world.
A creature with too many souls.
A creature with none.
And a creature with those shattered.
