"Trey!" I yelled my brother's name as he came through the door.
He looked my way, he had sadness and angry in his eyes. He made eye contact for a split second then turned around quickly. I walked up to him and tried to hug him but he pushed me back.
"Not now Malayia I gotta take care of something."
"Trey I missed you," my voice cracked. "H-how did you f-find me?"
He didn't acknowledge me, he walked right past me and up the stairs. I followed him as he reached James and Sasha's master bedroom. James sat up in the king sized bed with a look of pure terror.
"Look man, I'm sorry that it went down like that I was trying to hurt you. You're OK now so that's all that matters right? Forgive and Forget?"
Trey chuckled and pointed his gun at James. He fired twice at his chest and once at his head. "Wrong motherfucker."
He turned to Sasha. "I'm taking her back." He told her demandingly.
Sasha nodded in agreement.
Trey turned around and walk back downstairs with me right on his heels.
"Let's go sis." He stopped so I could walk in front of him.
We left the house and went to get my daddy.
Malayia woke up from her dream with tears running down her face. She tried hard not to think of her family but she couldn't help it sometimes.
~~~
Kam sat at at home thinking about what he should do.
Even though Malayia hasn't told him the story, he knows that she misses her family. If he told her he knew J.T. and that he could take her home she'd want to leave. Kam likes having Malayia around and he wants to be more than friends with her but he knows if he tells her the news she'd leave."Maybe I'll just wait a while. If we get together I won't tell her and if we don't get together I will tell her." He spoke to himself.
~~~
"Trey calm down!" Kayla told her boyfriend as he paced tjlhe up and down the hard wood floors."Nah man. My sister has been gone for months! She could be dead!"
"I know and we're looking for her still. Hey you know her friend? What's his name? The boy? Um, um... J.T.! Maybe he can help us." Kayla thought.
Trey's face lit up ," You're right baby!"
"Tomorrow though, its two in the morning he's probably sleep."
Trey nodded his head and tried to calm down like his girlfriend had said. He sat down on the brown leather couch and tried to think straight.
Last time he saw his sister she was tooken by her biological parents and he was shot in the chest. It's now been four months since all of it and he still hasn't heard from her.
Trey put his head in his hands, trying to hide his pain. Kayla understood that he was going through a lot, first his brother's killed, then his daughter dies, then his sister is kidnapped. She sat in his lap and held his body close to her.
"Trey?"
"Yeah?"
"It's okay to cry. I won't tell anyone." She stated as she rubbed his back.
Trey hated crying but he felt like he'd been keeping in all of his pain and now was the time to release it.
"Promise?" He held out his pinky.
Kayla giggled a little, "promise."
Trey snuggled into Kayla's chest and soon his tears began to soak her shirt. She rubbed his back as he cried.
