Malayia's POV
Chi, Zay, Kye, and Chris sat on the front porch as Trey, J.T. and I pulled up to the house. I got out of Trey's car with mixed emotions. I hate saying goodbye's but I was ready to get back home. Chi ran up to me as soon as I stepped out the car. She hugged me so tightly.
"I'm gonna miss you boo," she told me with sadness in her voice. "I'm sorry this stuff had to happen to you but i'm glad we became friends." Her voice cracked as she told me the last sentence. Tears rolled down her face, seeing her cry made me cry also.
"I love you Chi, and I'm gonna miss you too. I'm so thankful that we became friends you've helped me so much. I'm still gonna hit your line all the time boo. We can facetime too, even though I look like a chubby bear right now."
She laughed," Girl you're slaying your pregnancy. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise and if they do let me know cause you know I gotchu." She flexed her arms.
"You a mess."
Chris, Zay, and Kye dabbed up Trey and J.T. and walked over to me. Chris hugged me first.
"You be safe cuzzo. We love you and we still got ya back we gone hold ya dine no matter where you're at," he told me, his accent thick.
"Yea shawty you know we'd take bullets for you. I'd take a bullet straight through my brain," Zay told me while singing some bruno mars.
"I can't with you boy," I laughed at him. I'm gonna miss Zay, he kinda reminds me of my brother, Jordan, he passed away almost a year ago.
"It's true though ma. If you ever need anything we got you. You the little hood princess," Kye gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead.
"I love y'all," I cried to them all. "Group hug!" We all hugged and laughed for a while before I had to leave.
*10 hours later*
We pulled up to Trey's "house" after ten hours.
"Malayia!" Trey's girlfriend, Kayla, ran up to me with open arms. She embraced me in a big hug and it took everything in me not to break down and cry. I've been through so much lately and it feels good to be hugged, to be back around people who love and care for me. I use to take this for granted but never again.
"Hey Kayla," I hugged her back , "thank you for being here for my brother."
"Girl it's nothing. I love that man." She smiled and I knew she meant it.
"Babygirl!!" I heard my daddy's voice.
Tears rolled down my face as he gave me a bear hug. "Daddy I missed you so so soooo much." I cried into his chest. My family means the world to me, we've been through so much together words can't explain how much the past eight months have been a struggle.
"I missed you too baby."
"We all missed you shawty," Trey joined in the hug as did J.T. and Kayla.
Once we finished hugging and crying a little bit we went inside. Trey has a huge house for no reason so he invited me to stay with him until we figure out what to do about this situation.
"Y'all I'm hungry," I whined to them.
"You're always hungry. What's new?" Trey joked with me.
"Let's Bar-b-que," My dad suggested.
Kayla and I went into the kitchen to get the meat ready. I made hamburger patties from ground beef while Kayla seasoned the ribs. The guys went to the store to get sides and desserts.
