 When John and Mercury arrived at 221b, Sherlock was laying on the couch, his robe on and his newspaper in hand."Booooooooooooooooring..", he said, crumpling up the paper and throwing it at Mercury. She yelped some and Sherlock glared at them. "Oops.", he said. John took her to his room and gave her one of his sweaters, and told if she was wanting to take a shower, she could. Mercury nodded and proceeded to shower. After the shower (because fanfic showering time is boring as fuck), Mercury walked out to John and sat beside him.

When she was in the shower, John went out and bought her a cute, soft, shark stuffed animal. She smiled softly and said one simple word. "Carlos.", she said softly, petting the shark, now known as Carlos, looking down at it. John raised an eyebrow, and smiled some. "Is...that the shark's name?", he asked, looking at the shark. It sure didn't look like a Carlos. She giggle softly and nodded. Sherlock watched her intently. Eh..he had to admit...she was kind of cute... Mercury yawned and Sherlock sat down on the couch next to her, waiting for her to fall asleep so he could talk to John...

When she fell asleep, John carried her to his bed, and put the covers over her and Carlos. He headed back out to the living room and sat in his recliner. "John, why did you bring her here and not to a homeless shelter?", he asked, his hands in a praying position under his chin. John sighed and looked at Sherlock. "Sherlock, she asked me kindly and-", Sherlock cut him off. "Why did she ask you? She looked too shy to ask or even talk to you. Mercury seemed too scared to even be in such a place.". John rolled his eyes. "Just let her stay here.", he growled, yawning afterwords. Sherlock got up and went to his room. John turned the lights off and went to his bed, crawling into next to Mercury and Carlos. When he got into bed, his weight made Mercury's body roll over to his. He blushed and slowly, but eventually put his arms around her and Carlos.
